your friendly reminder that after ilya got scared, shane recreated a protective loon call to signal defense and tell other loons to “back off” because he wanted to protect ilya :)

ik it's the bare minimum to not out a person, not even your son but david was so sweet after he found out about shane and ilya he didn't tell yuna he kept talking about the charger to protect shane and to give him the time to come out how he wanted to even if he was surprised :(

“ilya’s doing everything he can to push shane away & realizing that shane won’t be pushed. That is what ultimately rocks ilya & breaks him a little bit. For whatever reason, he can’t scare shane off, & that is terrifying to ilya.”

friendly reminder that shane “showing off” for him in vegas is canonically what ilya rozanov (man whore of all time) considers to be the hottest thing he’s ever seen

Shane’s face shifting to serious after he asks “and if you win?” bc that’s Shane asking Ilya what he wants. After all the tension & time apart does Ilya still want him the way he wants Ilya? As far as Shane is concerned, their fate hangs in that moment before Ilya kisses him.

Friendly reminder that we’re going to have to watch Ilya relive this moment again in season 2 but don’t worry this time he’ll have Shane there to comfort him

i always go back all the things that happened immediately after this… ilya had to watch shane walk past him when he left… ilya had to clean up their dishes… ilya was alone. no one knew what was going on so he didn’t even have a friend to go to. he was just fully alone ☹️

When people say Shane doesn’t love Ilya, but here he is, asking with tears in his eyes if Ilya wants Shane to go away, because he was ready to sacrifice his own happiness just so Ilya could have safe, “normal” life with a woman

Shane panicking because he’s realizing what he feels for Ilya in this moment. Ilya trying to revert back to their more lighthearted dynamic to keep Shane from leaving and ending their current situationship. Oh, my heart was breaking for both of them. #HeatedRivalry #hrspoilers

nothing makes me more sad than how much both ilya and shane wanted to be able to touch each other and hold hand here :(

i love how ilya instantly understands that shane’s nerves kick in after everything settles and that his reluctance to see each other again isn’t disinterest but fear, so rather than letting shane back out, he gives him his number so shane knows he can talk to him 🥹

Shane didn’t grind his waist back. Ilya was already in the mood and wanted Shane. Shane said he might not last long during intercourse because he hadn’t had it for a while. Watch 👇🏿🌈

It was probably this moment that truly solidified to Yuna and David just how in love Shane and Ilya are. Shane is freaking out and Ilya calmly, softly helps him, grounding him with touch and loving words. They got to see how deeply Ilya cares for their son and gained another son

Even tho Ilya brushed it off, Shane sees right through his act and he is conscious how much his running away last time actually hurt Ilya. So it's so important that Shane acknowledged that and apologized for it. Cause contrary to what Ilya certainly believed, it wasn't anything HE did that made Shane flee, it was just Shane's own fears/insecurities talking. To reach that level of intimacy with Ilya, calling each other's names, that was one step too much at that time.. But it was NOT Ilya's fault. He needed to hear that, truly 😭 #hollanov #heatedrivalry

their first kiss is crazy because you can tell shane doesn’t want to let himself get too into it (because he’s freaked out) but ilya starts moaning to signal he’s really into it and then you can see shane be like wait…. maybe i can want this a lil

After getting to taste Shane, Ilya couldn't even hook up with Sasha and never got with another man again after, he was even sometimes imagining him when hooking up with girls with freckles because they reminded him of Shane.

genuinely in love with the way ilya just GETS shane like he wants to rage bait him a little but notices that shane is genuinely upset so he's like "it is, listen" sygnaling to shane that it's all about him and ilya's love for him and the second shane relaxes ilya teases him again

The way Rose's friend Miles went straight from flirting with Shane to trying to pull Ilya without knowing that he's down bad for Shane and Ilya knows Miles is in Rose's crew because he's been tabloid stalking Shane's relationship with Rose's and that is how he knew to instantly turn around searching for Shane. That is some real 6 Degrees of Longing and Yearning. #heatedrivalry #heatedrivalryspoilers
