Somebody recently asked me about the Lockheed AH-56 Cheyenne and I knew nothing but I just ran across this badass footage. My understanding is that it was built to replace the Cobra but rising cost ended the program. More details and link to awesome video in comments🤘😎👇

INCITEMENT: Today's armed attack on the McAllen Border Patrol annex was the second armed attack in the last week. The first was on the 4th at the Alvarado ICE detention facility where several armed terrorist shot a police officer in the neck - thankfully he survived and several of the terrorists were arrested.

The German Dornier Do 31 was the world's only jet-powered VTOL transport. Immensely complex, it was built with 2 Rolls-Royce Pegasus vectored engines + 8 Rolls-Royce RB162 lift engines. First flew in 1967, wowed at 1969 Paris Air Show, canceled in 1970 because it was TOO cool.😎

Whenever you see an F-35B on a routine Vertical take-off, remember we came a long (and painful) trek of testing and development to reach the standards of readiness that we have today... June 10 1964: a prototype XV-4, an experimental VTOL jet, crashes in Georgia (US), test pilot William J. Ingram dies. Control was lost after the aircraft transitioned from conventional to vertical flight. Reportedly, the pilot chose not to eject so he could fly the stricken jet away from a residential area. The airman lost in the accident was an Army civil test pilot, William J. Ingram, aged 43. (Even though the XV-4 was an experimental type – built by Lockheed - at the time of the accident, it was operated by the US Army) The XV-4 - officially named “Hummingbird” - was part of a US Army project in the feasibility of a VTOL jet in surveillance operations, using target-acquisition and sensory equipment. Only two prototypes were built, and both were lost in accidents. (This one was registered as “62-4503”) Video - Amazing Info TV

At 10:32 am EST today, Trump made a post, causing the market to dump in only 2 candles. It was very interesting that at 10:00 am, my program showed HUGE put buying right before the actual pull 🤯 And then, at 10:34, call buying started to kick in, and that was the curl for a nice uptrend for the rest of the day. $SPY

The 1956 Goodyear Inflatoplane was an inflatable experimental aircraft intended for military use, inflated in ~5 min, flew at 60 mph on a 40-42 hp engine. Tragically, Lt. "Pug" Wallace died in a crash when a control cable jammed, wing folded into prop 👀, deflated, & hit his head before he fell out and into a lake. Project was cancelled in 1973.
