Pi Network To Change How App Creators Pay Pi Network (Pi Network) will change App Studio pricing from August 24, 2026. Creators currently pay 0.25 $PI to create or edit an app. The network says the current pricing heavily subsidizes AI service costs. New prices will better reflect the resources required for each app, according to the team. Creators with apps attracting real users can still receive subsidized rates. However, apps used mainly for testing or experimentation may face higher costs. Pi says the goal is to push creators toward useful applications. The network expects pricing to evolve as more data becomes available.
