It's not a browser game and yes, it requires an installation.

Will it have multiplayer?

Maybe in future but not planned yet. I have a problem with syncing bunch of terrain data between client and server. There are still tons of work needs to be done so I am focusing on finishing the game as single player first.

I think our pixel avatar generator would be a great fit for your game.
