The End of "Work": US Schools & Learned Obscelence, Why Value Creation Is the Only Survival Strategy โ€‹In this video, we break down the Job Apocalypse from a first-principles perspective. Traditional education and corporate training have prepared us for repetitive tasks, rote memorization, and circular thoughtโ€”the exact domains where Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents now exceed human performance. โ€‹Why AI wins the "Job" game: โ€‹Economics: Faster, cheaper, and infinitely scalable. โ€‹Risk Mitigation: No sick days, no fatigue, and zero discriminatory lawsuits. โ€‹Performance: AI doesn't just do the task; it evolves the process. โ€‹The Contrarian Pivot: Value Creation over Labor โ€‹Staying relevant isn't about working harder; it's about disruption mapping. If you are doing a job an LLM can do, your goal should be to figure out how to automate yourself out of that position. By "obsolescing" yourself, you move from being a cog in the machine to owning the infrastructure that replaces it. โ€‹In this video, we discuss: โ€‹The transition from repetitive labor to Value Creation. โ€‹Why the "Windshield vs. Rearview" mindset is the difference between winners and losers. โ€‹How to position yourself as the "funnel" for value distribution in the age of AI. โ€‹Key Takeaway โ€‹Stop thinking about who you can work for and start thinking about how you can create value for yourself and your family. The economy is retooling. Are you?

โšฝ๏ธ CHELSEA FC POSITIONAL 4v4v4 Under Xabi Alonso at the weekend. A positional possession practice from Chelsea Football Club, designed to develop one of the most important principles in possession: creating effective angles of support around the ball. ๐Ÿ”ต PRACTICE DETAIL When a team has possession, players adopt a designated positional structure within each zone. Players are positioned on either side of the area, along the end line and with one central player operating inside each zone. This structure challenges players to recognize how their positioning can create passing lines, support the player on the ball and provide opportunities to play through, around or beyond pressure. Out of possession players are free to press anywhere within the practice area. The focus then shifts towards compactness, communication and coordinated collective pressure. ๐ŸŽฏ SCORING Teams score one point by completing the required number of consecutive passes. ๐Ÿง  COACHING POINTS ๐Ÿ”น Create clear angles of support around the ball ๐Ÿ”น Adjust positioning as the ball moves ๐Ÿ”น Scan before receiving ๐Ÿ”น Receive with an open body shape where possible ๐Ÿ”น Move the ball quickly to exploit available space ๐Ÿ”น Press collectively and remain compact out of possession ๐Ÿ”น React immediately when possession changes ๐Ÿ’ก COACHING FOCUS The positioning of the players away from the ball has a major influence on the options available to the player in possession. The central player becomes particularly important in helping the team connect different areas, play through pressure and create additional angles around the ball. Like and save this post for more. โšฝ Day 42 of building my football/soccer game solo in Unreal Engine 5. Tonight, I rebuilt how the ball and the player's feet actually talk to each other while remaining separate meshes. I wanted to get pretty technical with y'all on a Saturday, so enjoy the read if you enjoy this stuff. Otherwise, just watch the video ๐Ÿ‘ - Normal dribbling is impulse-based now. The foot arrives, knocks the ball on, the ball is genuinely loose between touches. Stop running and the ball keeps going without you. - We enabled Motion Warping on all 10 turn animations so the montages will now bend the player's path mid-turn so the boot arrives at the ball, instead of the ball being dragged to wherever the animator drew it previously. - Every contact is authored on the animation itself. I track which frame, which foot, which part of the boot, and whether it CARRIES the ball (sole on a drag-back) or STRIKES it (inside-of-the-foot on a 90) - Each contact declares how close the player needs to be. A sole on top of the ball, an inside-foot redirect and an outside-foot push all reach differently โ€” 75 / 63 / 53 units - Touches are credited only to the foot the animation is actually dribbling with - Sideways and forward correction are capped separately. Pushing the ball across your line keeps it. Pushing it forward is how you lose it - Touch strength scales with your speed. The ball has to leave the foot ~1.27ร— faster than you're running just to stay ahead. This was an annoying bug I kept running into where I overran the ball and left it behind. Have a great weekend. #indiedev #gamedev #soccer #football #unrealengine

It would be easy to call out the defense for this one, but the issue is complete lack of game management. Itโ€™s been an issue for years and it must improve. There are 10-15 passes that second half where Utd really would have benefited from controlling the game more โ€” but lose possession from bad decisions. Like, 60 minutes into the game when Everton has pinned us down in our own end and we are up 1-0, it is impossible to justify from a risk/reward perspective to try to make a low percentage pass in behind the defense to a Sesko running down towards the corner flag just after we have won possession. All United fans knows how it feels like when you are down a goal against City and they just play off 15-20 minutes. How can they be so good at it? Check the videos from the City documentary. I couldnโ€™t find the best clip Iโ€™ve seen, but the below is a good example. Pep is absolutely losing his mind after players losing possession of the ball. In another video he literarily starts to cry. United doesnโ€™t have to become City II. But this is an area we just must improve and itโ€™s long long overdue. It really is as simple as this. If you are patient and get enough players up pitch โ€” the opponent must defend with the same numbers. If you lose the ball in that position when the opponent is defending with 10 players in the lap of their keeper โ€” it is very hard for an opponent to counter attack on you effectively. So you get every chance to win the ball back even if you lose it. When we have a lead in a game like this โ€” we just canโ€™t help ourselves. Give it 15 seconds and a Dalot or Maguire or Rashford or Bruno or Cunha or Mbuemo will try a play to get into a scoring chance. This must improve and it must improve soon.

I have spent the last 3 weeks working on a complicated tool/software for $AERO LPers to track their profits and losses across various liquidity pools on Aerodrome I have made immense progress so far but there is much more to accomplish before going public Not sugar coating it but there isn't a similar tool out there that is able to give accurate metrics and proper accounting Here's what it does right now > Compiles all your LP mints and withdrawal events > Computes the difference in USD value between entering an LP position and exiting it > This feeds to your impermanent loss or gain depending on the price movement of the underlying assets > Compiles all AERO rewards > Compiles all Fees earned (Since Aerodrome merges fees + LP position amounts when you withdraw, the tool had to separate principal from yield) > Compiles all gas fees paid > Gives you a USD denominated PnL > Gives you a net APR and a net return based on the period Here's what it doesn't do right now but will be added later > All AERO rewards have the USD value equivalent based on the price they were claimed at - future implementation would give them proper USD value based on your actions (selling vs holding) > No holding IL included (that's IL that is computed based on the difference between the moment an asset enters your wallet, either via purchase, transfer or LP event, and the moment it exists, either via a sell event, LP event or transfer. If it entered your wallet and you're still holding it then it gives your PnL between purchase timestamp and current price) > veAERO yield in case you've locked those claims and started voting with them > Live AERO rewards that are accruing in an active CL position > Full accounting for all Liquidity pools at once as it currently operates based on one LP / Gauge Once everything is tested and these additional things added then it will go public Prompting this terminal is going to be fully AERO aligned, meaning priced in AERO Would appreciate feedback

The AI business model is undergoing a transformation. For the last few years, the playbook was simple: put an AI wrapper on a SaaS product and sell it by the seat. That era is ending. The new wave of AI companies are moving beyond simple subscriptions and embracing a more sophisticated approach tied directly to value creation. Hereโ€™s whatโ€™s changing: ๐Ÿ’ฐ From Seats to Spend: The most forward-thinking companies are shifting to usage-based and outcome-driven pricing. Think less about how many people use the AI and more about what the AI does. This includes new revenue streams like "agentic checkout" on ChatGPT, where AI agents complete purchases and transactions directly within a chat interface. The closer the AI is to the dollar, the more value it captures. ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ From Text to Voice & Video: The interface for AI is becoming more human. Voice is mainstream (Sierra for support, Listen Labs for market research). The next frontier is video, where AI will see, understand, and interact with the world in real-time. The keyboard is no longer the only way to talk to a machine. ๐Ÿค– From Advisors to Actors: Early AI copilots gave advice. The next generation takes action. These agents aren't just suggesting what to do; they are executing complex workflows that directly impact the metrics that matter: boosting conversion, reducing average handle time (AHT), improving NPS, and cutting churn. This is about moving from passive assistance to active problem-solving. The common thread? A relentless focus on tangible ROI. Weโ€™re incredibly bullish on founders who understand this shift and are building companies that align their success with the success of their customers. The future of AI isn't just about intelligence; it's about impact.
