I don't think ANY player hates the IDEA of this. But we expect Blizzard to pick up the slack, make shit more noticeable, to not need addons, etc. but they likely won't and as such it's possibly a huge step back for accessibility. Like their new cooldown tracker, it's... not great

Are we going to fix the base UI so I can see when abilities come off CD without looking at my bar on the bottom of the fucking screen then? The whole reason weak auras exist is because the base UI is dogwater from 2004.

The fact that this whole cutscene in Cyberpunk 2077 is rendered in-game instead of being pre-rendered shows how Goated the REDengine 4 truly was in some scenarios like these. Loading assets and switching cutscenes at such a fast rate is incredible and all of this worked seamlessly. CD Projekt Red announced that they will be switching to UE5 in 2022 which has me worried, I really hope they optimize this new engine as much as possible for future titles, especially Cyberpunk 2 which will require loading assets at a fast rate while maintaining a stable framerate without shuttering issues in such a dense city filled with NPCs.

I was on Kyle Sandilands Live yesterday & it was a genuinely great conversation, I really appreciated it, as it was a conversation between people with all different positions on “the trans issue”. I was obviously there to explain why men can’t be women. Spoiler alert: because they’re men. The hour-long conversation concluded with agreement that there should be more conversations about this, which I completely agree. Talking to & hearing each other is a very important step. One of the biggest problems is that the side that thinks women like me are bigots actually has absolutely no idea what we have been saying. While the interview/episodes are currently behind a paywall, I do genuinely hope Kyle Sandilands continues to engage in these topics, as it will fill a void in Australian media & be worth the price of admission.

Lastly, this interview confirms what Somaliland has been telling the international community for many years: there is a revolving door between Mogadishu leadership and Al Shabab. Both entities view each other as crucial to their survival. Despite receiving billions of dollars from the international community, Mogadishu shows little interest in adopting a coherent strategy to combat Al Shabab. Instead, they prefer to maintain the group's existence to ensure their own survival and relevance. Consequently, it is highly unlikely that anyone, including the international community, who are already tired of Mogadishu, will fall for this amateur bluff.

Putin does not live like ordinary people. He doesn't walk the streets. You will not see him in a cafe. Putin consults more with Tsar Peter and Empress Catherine about territorial gains than with any living person about real, real life. Can you imagine Putin without war? Be honest. Right now his focus is on Ukraine and no one in Ukraine believes he will ever let our people go. But he will not let other European nations go either because he cannot let go of the very idea of war. He may see himself as a Tsar but in reality he is a slave to war.

The majority of Hindus are clear that Muslims, as a community, cannot be trusted. I am feeling quite hesitant to share this video, but it brings out a harsh truth about the condition of Sikhs and Hindus in Pakistan. The majority of Hindus are clear that Muslims, as a community, cannot be trusted. This raises an important question: why do Sikh leaders continue to promote the narrative that Pakistan is a “brotherly” nation and that Muslims and Sikhs share a common bond? Evacuation in Ukraine has been and remains an acute problem: every day, families leave their homes and cities due to intensifying shelling. We all occasionally-and with age, more and more often-look back on our childhood. For some, it was happier; for others, it was not as bright. Yet, everyone can recall something in a moment of sadness, while reflecting in solitude, or finding peace in nature. Many children in Ukraine will remember their childhood as a series of upheavals that caught up with them far too soon; for their fragile psyche, it is an unbearable burden. They are left with too many questions: "Why us? Why now? And why did the russians come here and hate us so much?" There will be too many of these "Mom, why," and the answers will only come with age. How do you explain to a child what "war" is? Something that they previously saw only in movies as a form of entertainment, viewed from the safety and comfort of home, has suddenly appeared right outside their window. Explosions sound ever clearer, closer to home, and there is no point in replacing the windows anymore-they are destroyed too often. A child simply packs their small suitcase, packing away their childhood, and along with it, the memories of the years they have lived. The situation is similar for elderly Ukrainians, although they certainly have more answers than children do. Yet, our elderly parents, in their advanced age, become like children themselves; they require our attention, care, and words of love. In most cases, they are very stubborn, making it incredibly difficult to persuade them to leave dangerous cities and villages where war is already at the doorstep. It is important to remember that not everyone has family to turn to. For some, life has distanced them from their loved ones; for others, it is resentment or anger that keeps them apart. Evacuation is about packing a suitcase and setting off on a "journey." But this is no cruise-and this is a journey that brings no happiness.
