People say same story every time. But do they realize that it’s their own doing. Keep throwing plastic bags,bottles, pouches etc in the nullas and this will happen all the time. When the water builds up it affects the roads, then scream itna crore ka ghar liya itne lakh ki gaadi. Start with your self then blame others.

It is hightime the Union Government allots a specific budget for infrastructure upgrade to deal with Mumbai floods. The state govt is not able to do it. The country can't afford this yearly disaster to keep bruising this great city.

Real Problem is These Locations are Low Areas Build on Reclaimed Lands during British Times to Setup Textile Factories with Enough canals for Rain Water to Flow out But Now Everywhere Construction has happened & Excess Rain Water has No way to Flow Out, Water Logging Started.

While making roads, they forget drainage system

Mumbai is built on reclamation ground. Every monsoon the sea comes and claims it’s space

So much for BMC's work...

Taxpayers money drained into gutters due to negligence of Authorities who are not answerable

Hmmm...🤔 Hard solution : Improve infrastructure by making more storm water drainage systems. Easy solution : Increase taxes on cars so much, that people won't be able to afford it and there will be far less cars left on the road to get swamped in rain water.

Rain is fishy.
