⚡️Over 83 regime forces killed as regime retaliatory artillery and drone strikes destroy more than 20 homes and kill civilians in Alefa Woreda (📍Central Gonder Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia). 🔵 On September 20th, Fano units under the 16th and 55th Divisions (AFNM-BC) infiltrated Shawra Town, triggering several consecutive hours of fighting. Regime forces initially sustained heavy casualties and abandoned their camps before responding with extensive heavy-weapons bombardment. 🔴 Regime forces used mortars, DShK heavy machine guns, ZU-23 anti-aircraft guns, heavy artillery, and repeated drone strikes against former military positions and civilian neighborhoods, completely destroying more than 20 residential homes and causing significant civilian casualties. The bombardment eventually prompted Fano forces to withdraw from the town. 🔵 During the fighting, more than 83 regime personnel were reportedly killed and 29 critically wounded.
