The Delimitation Bill is a fundamental attack on India’s federal structure. In 2023, Parliament passed a Bill ensuring 33 percent reservation for women in Parliament and state assemblies. At that time, Lok Sabha LoP Shri Rahul Gandhi, Rajya Sabha LoP Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, CPP Chairperson Smt Sonia Gandhi ji, and other opposition leaders clearly asked the government to implement it in the 2024 elections. Why was the 33 percent reservation for women not implemented in the 2024 elections? We insisted that women’s reservation should be implemented in 2024, but the government introduced a Bill and said it would be implemented only after the Census, and the Census only after delimitation. Now you are saying that delimitation and the Census are not possible before 2029. 👉 The Modi government’s intention is to hijack constitutional protections. 👉 The Modi government knows the mindset of the Indian people, and it is scared of the 2029 elections. According to Amnesty International Amnesty International: “Trying civilians in military courts is contrary to international law. Article 14 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), which Pakistan has ratified, guarantees the right to a trial before a ‘competent, independent, and impartial tribunal established by law. Amnesty International has documented a catalogue of human right violations stemming from trying civilians in military courts in Pakistan, including flagrant disregard for due process, lack of transparency, coerced confessions, and executions after grossly unfair trials. Therefore, any indication that the trial of civilians could be held in military courts is incompatible with Pakistan’s obligations under international human rights law. This is purely an intimidation tactic, designed to crack down on dissent by exercising fear of an institution that has never been held to account for its overreach. The right to a fair trial, guaranteed by Pakistan’s constitution, is severely undermined by this move and cannot be justified. C𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. In a remarkable act of courage and presence of mind, PC B. Suresh of Tappachabutra Police Station saved the life of a TGPDCL contract worker who suffered a severe electric shock while carrying out repair works near Kummarwadi Hanuman Temple, Karwan. Responding instantly during his BC-I patrolling duty, the constable rushed to the spot and found the worker unconscious and not breathing. Without wasting a moment, PC B. Suresh administered CPR on-site and successfully revived the victim’s pulse and breathing before shifting him to the hospital for further treatment. Doctors stated that the timely CPR given during the golden hour played a crucial role in saving the worker’s life, highlighting the Hyderabad City Police’s commitment towards public safety and humanitarian service.
