I was travelling in a cab to Mumbai on 30th Oct at around 9pm when I noticed that the driver slowed down the car very abruptly, it was because of the driver of this red i10 who was visibly drunk. He was swerving lanes and almost crashed into us and another car. When we overtook him, he started driving even more dangerously and came ahead of our car started showing the finger and almost made us come to a halt. Luckily there wasn’t much traffic on that stretch of road and our driver was quite aware so we could get away from him. But his driving was highly dangerous and reckless. I hope you show this on your channel to make people aware of drunk drivers like him. #driveresponsibly

Fast asleep, as if nothing is wrong. It’s almost as if the administration is in a parallel universe where Bengaluru is functioning just fine. Meanwhile, on ground zero, roads have vanished under murky water, vehicles are submerged, and entire stretches look like disaster zones. Severe waterlogging in HSR Layout has brought life to a standstill. Residents are struggling to leave their homes. Office-goers are stranded. Kids can’t go to school. And on top of it all, there's the rising threat of waterborne diseases a gift that comes free with Tushar Giri Nath, IAS version of "rain-ready" infrastructure. The irony? This delightful clip, shared with me by Nagdev Pawar sir, perfectly captures the ongoing nightmare that is the Virar–Manor stretch of NH-48 as of June 2025. Once a smooth, asphalt-paved highway, it was tragically "upgraded" by NHAI to concrete. The result? A national highway that transforms into India's longest parking lot the moment a raindrop hits the ground. This particular traffic jam stretches roughly 22 kms from Manor to Sakawar village. And how can anyine miss that glorious "newly" laid concrete surface? Remember, the NHAI did this concretization work because cement roads supposedly last longer life and warrant lower maintenance. It's been not even a year since this surface was laid. Only in India can a brand-new road be objectively worse than the old one it replaced.
