Orbit College Statement Sparks Debate as Sundowns Fixture Controversy Grows A statement from the owner of Orbit College FC has ignited debate among football fans after he publicly acknowledged the role played by Irvin Khoza in the clubโ€™s promotion to the Premier Soccer League (PSL). Speaking about their historic rise to the top flight, the club owner said: โ€œWe owe Irvin Khoza for helping us get promoted to the PSL.โ€ While the comment was intended as a show of gratitude, it has quickly become a talking point across social media โ€” particularly among supporters of Mamelodi Sundowns . Many Sundowns fans are linking the statement to the recent controversy surrounding the clubโ€™s request to change their fixture scheduled for Tuesday. According to supporters, the acknowledgment of Khozaโ€™s influence raises questions about whether relationships within South African football administration could have played a role in the decision to deny Sundownsโ€™ request. Khoza is one of the most powerful figures in South African football. As chairman of the Premier Soccer League and owner of Orlando Pirates, his influence in the game spans decades. The situation has now created a wave of reactions online, with some fans calling for transparency in how league decisions are made, while others believe the issue is being blown out of proportion. Despite the growing debate, there has been no official indication that the fixture decision was influenced by anything other than league regulations. For now, the discussion continues among fans โ€” highlighting just how passionate and closely watched football decisions are in South Africa. Fan Question: Do you think Sundowns were treated fairly with the fixture decision, or should the league have allowed the change? โšฝ๐Ÿ‘‡ Adapt or Die #BlackMarcoSportsClothing #AdaptOrDie #Sundowns #Masandawana #PSL #AreyengMasandawana

๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’ฅ Satou Sabally WNBA FINALS MEDICAL COMMENTARY: SIDELINE CARE MATTERS ๐Ÿš‘ During todayโ€™s WNBA Finals, forward Satou Sabally sustained a serious injury to her head and neck that was rotational and compressive in nature coupled with a direct hit to one of the most vulnerable areas of the skull, the temple. This type of mechanism raises concern for both concussion and potential cervical spine involvement, including spinal cord compression or cervical cord neuropraxia. When an athlete experiences a possible head and neck injury, lifting or moving them manually without stabilizing the neck can cause serious secondary injury. Hereโ€™s what should happen: โœ… Stop play immediately and assess airway, breathing, and circulation. โœ… Keep the neck stabilized and avoid any movement until spinal injury is ruled out. โœ… Activate EMS if there is neck pain, numbness, or any loss of movement. โœ… Follow the SCAT6 and NATA emergency action plans for concussion and spine trauma. What we saw today is a reminder that concussion and spinal injury protocols are not just medical checklists, they are lifesaving procedures designed to protect athletesโ€™ futures both on and off the court. As clinicians and advocates, we MUST continue to push for evidence-based sideline care and accountability in professional sports. Itโ€™s not just the diminishing calls of the refs this season, we must make sure our sideline teams are also at peak performance for our top athletes in the world. Prayers to the Sabally sisters and their family tonight. Hereโ€™s to a speedy recovery and comprehensive medial care for Satou tonight ๐Ÿ™ If you have any questions, please comment below or reach out to [email protected] for press inquiries

Pec tear injury update: TLDR: Got 2 different opinions from 2 surgeons. 1 said the type of pec injury I have could not be fixed & that I would have to live with deformity & loss of strength. The other, Dr. Cole at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush said itโ€™s more difficult but he can fix it. Going into surgery tomorrow. ๐Ÿ™ Radiology report from my MRI: โ€œThe sternal head portion of the pectoralis major muscle is torn at the myotendinous junction and retracted with surrounding hemorrhage.โ€ Apparently that means that the pec is torn where the muscle and tendon meet as opposed to where the tendon connects to the bone, which is an easier fix. I went to 2 of the best orthopedic surgeons in the city today. The first one said that the type of injury I have could not be fixed because it is a tear at the muscle / tendon rather than tendon off the bone. โ€œIt would be like trying to sew together wet paperโ€ He said I would just have to live with the loss of strength and a pec deformity. Then I went to go see Dr. Cole at Rush hospital. He said itโ€™s a more difficult surgery, but that he thinks he can fix it; and that itโ€™s my only hope of not being deformed. So I decided I am going to go through with the surgery for tomorrow. So all positive vibes and prayers are welcome. Itโ€™s been a rough week so I really appreciate all of you that reached out over the last few days. I know I was kind of spirally a bit so I want to say that: I understand that Iโ€™ve been overwhelmingly blessed in this life and in the scheme of things, this isnโ€™t the end of the world; There are far worse problems to have as many people told me over and over again in the comments. So now I just have to put my faith in the hands of Dr. Cole, in God; the universe, and the magical healing powers of the body and just hope and pray the surgery goes well; that the stitches hold and my muscle fibers reconnect, That I make a full recovery and I can regain full strength, mobility and symmetry. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿปโค๏ธ๐Ÿ™ #pectear #injury #bodybuilding #bodybuilder

$50 million! Thatโ€™s the size of a new privately funded donation by the Baszucki Family to launch the Metabolic Health Coalition, a group of scientists and healthcare professionals committed to addressing the root causes of our metabolic health crisis. As both a PhD scientist and new MD and chronic disease patient, this hits home for me. Because one thing I know for certain: the system weโ€™ve built isnโ€™t designed to prioritize metabolic health. Itโ€™s optimized for treatments that maintain the business modelโ€”pharmaceuticals, procedures, and quick fixesโ€”not long-term root-cause solutions. ๐ŸšจThis coalition is different. Itโ€™s a move toward unbiased research and widespread educationโ€”for both clinicians and patients. Itโ€™s a serious effort to bring logic, science, and systems-level change to a crisis thatโ€™s been swept under the rug for too long. Itโ€™s sad that we need disruption, and that true change is being built of the backs of people like me and my friends and colleagues who became passionate about metabolic health because we or a loved one suffered in a dysfunction system. ๐ŸšจBut that sad truth is also the reason this metabolic health movement is so robust. Enough have suffered. Letโ€™s shake things up. 1โƒฃFirst, follow Coalition for Metabolic Health for further updates. 2โƒฃThen, check out the metabolic health coalition website (๐Ÿ‘‡) 3โƒฃFinally, share if you care *Some members of the scientific advisory board and supporting experts you may know and love... Canadians silenced as MP advises against speaking out on Vaccine Injury Support Program failures In a stunning move that undermines the very people they are meant to represent, at least one Canadian member of Parliament is alleged to have advised a constituent against speaking out about the mishandling of vaccine injury claims. This comes as the COVID-19 Vaccine Injury Support Program (VISP) fails to provide timely, accurate, and adequate compensation to the victims of the "safe and effective" narrative, despite millions in funding funnelling into the pockets of private consultants tasked with delivering the program. Over the past few months, numerous Canadians have reached out to share their personal, often heartbreaking, experiences with the VISP. Many are left in limbo, unable to get their injury claims processed, while the consultants overseeing the program pocket the majority of its budget โ€” more than half of the funding goes directly to program administrators, leaving victims without the support they need. This gross misallocation of resources is nothing short of infuriating, especially when one considers that many individuals suffering permanent vaccine injuries are still awaiting a case manager. Through exclusive investigation and documents obtained via access to information, it is clear that the VISP is overwhelmed and woefully underfunded, and yet it continues to operate without a sense of urgency or accountability. Claims are delayed for months, some even years, and many who are suffering from severe and permanent injuries are forced to jump through bureaucratic hoops in an attempt to prove their cases. The consensus is that staff are โ€œtoo busyโ€ to provide timely support or compensation, despite repeated assurances that the program would offer fair and swift relief. However, when it comes to publicly exposing these flaws, one MP's response is chilling. Instead of encouraging transparency or accountability, one individual shared that their local MP discouraged them from doing an interview, warning that any public discussion of their claim could harm their chances of receiving support or even delay the process further. Itโ€™s an all-too-familiar story: the government opts to silence those most affected, hoping to avoid the scrutiny of the public eye rather than addressing the issues head-on. But Canadians must not remain silent. The failures of the VISP are too serious to be ignored, and itโ€™s time for victims to stand up, speak out, and demand the justice they deserve. for almost 4 months heeseung was having his own struggles. we only could see him through fancalls for a moment and that was our only source of updates. and in those fancalls, he always reassured us that heโ€™s okay, heโ€™s sleeping well/eating well, that thereโ€™s no need to worry about him. he is so misunderstood and mischaracterized that ppl really thought he was going to release some kind of heavy explicit music or something along those lines. but instead, we got a deep dive of his heart. ๐ŸฆŒ: i hope to create music that carries a heartfelt and sincere message. i want to make great music, but also, i hope people connect with the messages behind it. if that message can resonate with fans, help them overcome difficult times, or become a source of healing for them... thatโ€™s the kind of artist i want to be. and hopefully, iโ€™ll be able to create happy memories with my fans. or that he is some selfish villain. ๐ŸฆŒ: i want to say โ€˜thank youโ€™ to the fans for waiting. throughout the time iโ€™ve been creating music, there was never a single time i made music to satisfy my own greed, instead for the fans. i worked on it with the mindset that โ€œthe fans will enjoy thisโ€. i hope you can keep that in mind and enjoy it. i also worked hard on the performances as well, so please look forward to it. through all these interviews he has been so genuine, even on the radio shows/performance stages. heeseung has always been the one to follow his dreams, and he has achieved some of them. โ€” iland bucket list (#3) ๐ŸฆŒ: release an album with songs i wrote myself! evan doesnโ€™t ask for much in return. at the fillin live, he said he wishes he could just do promotions like that (where he can perform and just interact with EVERs) his love for EVERs is so cute too, always checking up on us through weverse, saying he loves us during lives/stages/performances to even showing his gratitude by getting us ice cream, churros, and fruit cups. he is one of the most genuine idols and i just wish him happiness, and the opportunity to live his dream by sharing his music with the ones he loves. he has shown us so much vulnerability in these last 2 weeks. but also has shown us more carefree and happy vibes.
