🧠💥 Satou Sabally WNBA FINALS MEDICAL COMMENTARY: SIDELINE CARE MATTERS 🚑 During today’s WNBA Finals, forward Satou Sabally sustained a serious injury to her head and neck that was rotational and compressive in nature coupled with a direct hit to one of the most vulnerable areas of the skull, the temple. This type of mechanism raises concern for both concussion and potential cervical spine involvement, including spinal cord compression or cervical cord neuropraxia. When an athlete experiences a possible head and neck injury, lifting or moving them manually without stabilizing the neck can cause serious secondary injury. Here’s what should happen: ✅ Stop play immediately and assess airway, breathing, and circulation. ✅ Keep the neck stabilized and avoid any movement until spinal injury is ruled out. ✅ Activate EMS if there is neck pain, numbness, or any loss of movement. ✅ Follow the SCAT6 and NATA emergency action plans for concussion and spine trauma. Pec tear injury update: TLDR: Got 2 different opinions from 2 surgeons. 1 said the type of pec injury I have could not be fixed & that I would have to live with deformity & loss of strength. The other, Dr. Cole at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush said it’s more difficult but he can fix it. Going into surgery tomorrow. 🙏 Radiology report from my MRI: “The sternal head portion of the pectoralis major muscle is torn at the myotendinous junction and retracted with surrounding hemorrhage.” Apparently that means that the pec is torn where the muscle and tendon meet as opposed to where the tendon connects to the bone, which is an easier fix. I went to 2 of the best orthopedic surgeons in the city today. The first one said that the type of injury I have could not be fixed because it is a tear at the muscle / tendon rather than tendon off the bone. “It would be like trying to sew together wet paper” He said I would just have to live with the loss of strength and a pec deformity. Then I went to go see Dr. Cole at Rush hospital. He said it’s a more difficult surgery, but that he thinks he can fix it; and that it’s my only hope of not being deformed. So I decided I am going to go through with the surgery for tomorrow. So all positive vibes and prayers are welcome. It’s been a rough week so I really appreciate all of you that reached out over the last few days. I know I was kind of spirally a bit so I want to say that: I understand that I’ve been overwhelmingly blessed in this life and in the scheme of things, this isn’t the end of the world; There are far worse problems to have as many people told me over and over again in the comments. So now I just have to put my faith in the hands of Dr. Cole, in God; the universe, and the magical healing powers of the body and just hope and pray the surgery goes well; that the stitches hold and my muscle fibers reconnect, That I make a full recovery and I can regain full strength, mobility and symmetry. 💪🏻❤️🙏 #pectear #injury #bodybuilding #bodybuilder

It’s been a great day of progress for Lady given where she started… First the bad stuff… 🚑 Vet visit found she has 2 types of blood parasites with a third starting. 🩸 She has serious anemia 🦴 Her hip was broken in an injury some time ago and not treated Now the good stuff… ✅ Lady has full feeling throughout body including tail. It’s nothing spinal 🐜 She is now totally flea and tick free 🧼 She got her 2nd bath and the water is running clear. She smells great ✂️ We finished her grooming. I made a small mistake on her head with a buzz cut but she forgave me. 🥱 Lady is eating, sleeping, drinking and doing toilets great. 💊 She has started a full course of medicines to build up her strength. I don’t have more answers than that right now. All I can do is work through some steps to make her better with treatment. The improvement in 30 hours has been superb. Lady is about 10-11 years old and had been in agony for months if not longer. We’ll take it one day at a time and hope tomorrow is as good for her as today was. Lady is the best girl ever. She deserves it all 🥰🙏

What is going on?” He has to reply on tips to pay his rent, and after bills he has nothing left Let’s look into Midwest rent price data Average 1-bedroom rent: Around $1,300 statewide, but $1,800+ is common in Milwaukee and other larger cities People priced out of California, New York, Illinois and more are moving to the Midwest for “affordability,” increasing demand Places like Milwaukee are now at a 94% occupancy rate, the fact that there are no units available has skyrocketed prices But another big reason… Corporate landlords and private equity have bought up tons of properties We can’t continue like this

Today marks three years since my brother Vladek was last verifiably seen, November 6th 2021 he left Foxtail Coffee shop and walked into the unknown. We continue to try and retrace his steps every day since then. It’s been three years filled with uncertainty, relentless searching, and an unshakable hope that we will find answers. There isn’t a day that goes by where he isn’t in my thoughts, constantly hoping with everything in me that he is okay wherever he might be. Vlad’s absence leaves a space that nothing can fill. I will never stop fighting for him and I will cling to the hope of being able to hug him again one day and remind him how loved he truly is. To everyone who has supported my family through this living nightmare, who has continued to help share his story, and who stands with our family — thank you. Your kindness and encouragement mean more than I could ever express. As each day that passes the search does not get easier yet we do get stronger because of the love and support from each of you. 💔💔💔RIP FRANCES💔💔💔 I am Frances and this is my story...... I was weak and emaciated but I knew I had a little life growing inside of me, so I had to keep fighting. I was caught in barbed wire and I could not move, I ate what I could for me and my baby and hoped that help would come soon🙏🙏 Help arrived...Kind and caring voices I could hear and I felt some hope. They freed me and brought me to their sanctuary, a very kind vet tended to my wounds. I was treated with kindness and respect and I felt safe. I am an old mare and I could feel my body start to fail. The kind people at MLHR were minding me closely and I was moved to a hospital to receive urgent care. Again I felt the gentle hand of people and I knew I had one last job to do, I had to have my baby, to give him a chance at a life worth living. So I lay down for one last time and gave birth, a beautiful little boy came into this world. I had no energy to care for him but I knew he was in the best hands. I dont want to leave my son but I have nothing left to give, I couldnt go on! So I left my darling boy in the care of the most wonderful people and I hope and pray that he has the strenght to make it. I am Frances and this was my story... 🚨 6 full days since we found him screaming in agony in an alley way and Mr Bear is still alive. 🏥 I thought we lost him a couple of times In the last 72 hours. He was really struggling to hang on. 🩸 We now know that it is leptospirosis that ravaged his body. It’s a disease passed on by rats and stagnant water. 🤒 His extreme pain is being managed and he has IV drips and all the meds he needs. He was puking, diarrhea and severe life threatening anemia all weekend. I don’t really know how he held on. 🥘 Last night and today he is back eating and drinking. It’s a tiny step but we think he might be 10% better. Still critical and he could slip away very easily but we all have some hope just looking at him today. 👁️ For the first time he has some clarity in his eyes. They are relaxing as he knows he is safe. 🛌 At the moment his best friend is sleep and his medicines. I don’t know how this story ends and it’s still a long shot we save him as he hasn’t even been able to move in 6 days. But if you told me Bear would be alive today and eating tiny bits of poached chicken I would have bitten your arm off for that outcome just 2 days ago. Please keep everything crossed for Bear 🙏

It’s remarkable how every royal journalist seems determined to write the same Harry-and-Charles reconciliation story on an endless loop. Every article is about healing, forgiveness, family reunions, olive branches, and restoring ties with the Royal Family. But where are the headlines about Thomas Markle? Meghan spent years telling the world what a wonderful father he was. She praised his sacrifices, credited him for her opportunities, and held him up as an example of parental devotion. Then, the moment he became inconvenient, he was erased from the narrative. Thomas is elderly, has suffered serious health setbacks, and has spent years publicly expressing the hope that he might one day hear from his daughter again. Yet the media’s obsession with reconciliation never seems to extend in his direction. If Harry and Meghan truly believe family relationships are worth repairing, perhaps they could start with the father Meghan once couldn’t stop praising instead of continually demanding access to everyone else’s family. for almost 4 months heeseung was having his own struggles. we only could see him through fancalls for a moment and that was our only source of updates. and in those fancalls, he always reassured us that he’s okay, he’s sleeping well/eating well, that there’s no need to worry about him. he is so misunderstood and mischaracterized that ppl really thought he was going to release some kind of heavy explicit music or something along those lines. but instead, we got a deep dive of his heart. 🦌: i hope to create music that carries a heartfelt and sincere message. i want to make great music, but also, i hope people connect with the messages behind it. if that message can resonate with fans, help them overcome difficult times, or become a source of healing for them... that’s the kind of artist i want to be. and hopefully, i’ll be able to create happy memories with my fans. or that he is some selfish villain. 🦌: i want to say ‘thank you’ to the fans for waiting. throughout the time i’ve been creating music, there was never a single time i made music to satisfy my own greed, instead for the fans. i worked on it with the mindset that “the fans will enjoy this”. i hope you can keep that in mind and enjoy it. i also worked hard on the performances as well, so please look forward to it. through all these interviews he has been so genuine, even on the radio shows/performance stages. heeseung has always been the one to follow his dreams, and he has achieved some of them. — iland bucket list (#3) 🦌: release an album with songs i wrote myself! evan doesn’t ask for much in return. at the fillin live, he said he wishes he could just do promotions like that (where he can perform and just interact with EVERs) his love for EVERs is so cute too, always checking up on us through weverse, saying he loves us during lives/stages/performances to even showing his gratitude by getting us ice cream, churros, and fruit cups. he is one of the most genuine idols and i just wish him happiness, and the opportunity to live his dream by sharing his music with the ones he loves. he has shown us so much vulnerability in these last 2 weeks. but also has shown us more carefree and happy vibes.
