Our first two year old with Classic winning trainer George Boughey, plus her dual winning half sister is favourite for a race today!! Our third and final purchase of the Goffs Doncaster Premier yearling sale comes in the shape of Lot 254A, a beautiful daughter of Ten Sovereigns who we hope can follow in her half sisters footsteps… Pre-sales we had agreed we only wanted to buy one or two from each sale, but we thought this one was worth breaking our own rules for… She is a half sister to Novelette, who was a £28,000 yearling before then purchased for £410,000 by M.V Magnier at the Breeze Up sales. She has ran well on all of her starts to date with form figures of: 3,2,1,1 & she is 6/4 favourite to add another win to her record this afternoon at Sandown. This could see her be possibly 90 rated next Tuesday… We are extremely pleased to add her to our ranks along with her being trained by George Boughey. George and I have formed a great relationship over the last two years and I think it’s the perfect time to add a two year old to our team at Craven House. We both had this filly on our list as being a great model for restricted Band C races. George was delighted we managed to get this filly and is personally keeping 25% himself. With George, comes Billy… Young superstar pilot Billy Loughnane has ridden multiple winners for PV and is a big asset to both us & George’s team. We look forward to sharing Billy’s feedback on her to her owners next year!

i dont care who you are , if you are a racing person and didnt have a little tear in the eye when George Simon said "go girl" as Legarto hit the front and won her final race start and her 5th Group 1 then you have a heart of stone .What a ride it has been , i spotted her running 4th in a trial at Taupo back in April 22 running home late ,contacted my friend Megan Winter who told me she thought she was very special .She was spot on , 2 months later Legarto debuted at Matamata over 1100m and bolted in 3.5 lengths with Taiki Yanagida on board .She went on to win 4 more races in a row including the 5 length win in the G1 1000 Guineas at Riccarton.Unlucky 4th in the karaka millions mile when she got knocked over at the top of the straight then she was then off to Melbourne for what was, in my opinion Legartos "Piece de resistance " beating the best 3yos in the G1 Australian Guineas ,flying home as usual and getting up in the last few strides ,with Mick Dee in the saddle . .She then won the Group 1 Herbie Dyke as a 4yo , missed a lot of her 5 yo campaign because of injury , then came back and finished off her career with back to back group 1s with Opie Bosson riding as a 6yo . 24 starts 12 wins 5 at Group 1 level and 3.5 million in prizemoney . Lulu goes out like all champions should on a high note .Incredible horse trained by elite trainers Ken and Bev Kelso and she was looked after by her best friend and track rider Megan Winter Megan Winter for her entire career .Happy retirement Lulu

Did you know⁉️ Just Blaze produced the track, sampling Rose Royce’s 1976 ballad “I’m Going Down” (pitching up elements for that signature early-2000s “chipmunk soul” sound)‼️. He originally made a faster version of the beat for Memphis Bleek, who passed on it‼️. Just Blaze slowed and reworked it; Jay-Z heard it, liked it, and asked to hold it since he wasn’t actively working on an album at the time (right after "The Blueprint 2")‼️. The beat sat unused for a while (Cam’ron has said roughly two months)‼️. Cam’ron and Juelz Santana ended up taking it‼️Juelz reportedly pushed Cam to grab the beat‼️.
