As PM SVANidhi marks six years of transformative financial inclusion, the scheme has enabled over 75 lakh street vendors to avail more than 112 lakh collateral-free loans worth over ₹17,800 crore. The scheme has also empowered vendors to participate in India's digital economy, facilitating 841 crore digital transactions worth nearly ₹9 lakh crore. Since taking charge as the Minister of Civil Aviation, my primary emphasis has been on making flying experience more passenger-centric. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s vision of making air travel accessible and affordable for the common man through the UDAN scheme has been a constant source of inspiration. One initiative I have taken earlier is the UDAN Yatri Cafe, which offers pocket-friendly menu to passengers, with options like tea for ₹10 and snacks for ₹20. These prices were unheard at the airports. Another landmark initiative I have launched is the Fare Se Fursat Scheme of Alliance Air. Under this initiative, airfares on select Alliance Air routes will remain fixed, regardless of the booking date, even up to the day of departure. MoCA_GoI

Today, the PM Jan Dhan Yojana (PM-JDY) completes 12 successful years. It is the world’s largest Financial Inclusion Scheme. Launched under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, this historic initiative is advancing the vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ by ensuring greater financial security, dignity and new opportunities for millions. Before 2014, millions of people, particularly from underserved and vulnerable sections, remained outside the formal banking system. The PM-JDY transformed this landscape by bringing them into the formal financial system and providing access to essential services such as banking, insurance, pensions and digital payments. By expanding financial inclusion, the scheme has strengthened transparency, improved the delivery of welfare benefits and contributed significantly to the growth of India’s digital economy. The scheme has also emerged as a powerful instrument of women’s empowerment. Today, there are over 59 crore Jan Dhan accounts across the country, including nearly 33 crore accounts held by women beneficiaries. PM-JDY has laid a strong foundation for inclusive growth, financial empowerment and a self-reliant India.

#WATCH | Delhi: Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini says, "Today, I held discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on several topics. We primarily discussed the new industrial policy launched recently, as well as the policies introduced across nine specific sectors. I also discussed matters related to my recent visit to Japan and addressed the Prime Minister's call to attract investment; in this context, we reviewed the investments received at various stages. When we launched our policy, we had set a target of attracting Rs 5 lakh crore in investments over five years; notably, on the very day of the launch, we secured investments worth Rs 1.10 lakh crore, of which approximately Rs 25,000 crore has already materialized on the ground."

Metro Revolution: Connecting Suburbs, Cities, and Millions of Dreams! 🚇✨ Conducted the technical inspection and flagged off the trial run of Metro Line-4 & 4A (Phase-1: Gaimukh to Vijay Garden Station) today. With 32 stations over 35 km, built at an estimated cost of ₹16,000 crore, this 8-coach metro will carry 13.43 lakh passengers daily—seamlessly linking Mumbai’s eastern & western suburbs, the city, and Thane. Once connected with Metro Line-11 (Wadala to CST), it will create India’s longest 58 km metro corridor, enabling 21 lakh daily commuters and cutting travel time by 50–75%. This project marks a giant leap towards decongesting roads and reshaping urban mobility. I congratulate MMRDA for overcoming challenges and urge them to complete the work swiftly, so that Mumbaikars and Thanekars can soon benefit from this lifeline of progress.
