As someone who has guarded all three players, I believe we should take his view seriously. While Kobe and Jordan certainly had physical advantages compared to the average NBA player, it's undeniable that LeBron possesses a unique blend of strength, size, athleticism, and mobility that gives him a SIGNIFICANT nightly advantage. It's evident to those familiar with the game that LeBron relies HEAVILY on his physical attributes to score and create plays, more so than Kobe and Jordan ever did. Many NBA fans, myself included, appreciate Kobe's and Jordan's style of play more because they relied on skill and footwork to DOMINATE, making their gameplay more aesthetically pleasing to watch. In the 90s, Mike would face 3 or 4 guys camped in the paint, ready to tackle him- yet he and just about everyone else made sure they tried to play all 82 games because they didn’t make excuses, they loved the game, and respected the fans. Go complain to your momma ✌🏻

Wonderful and very friendly atmosphere at Selhurst Park Crystal Palace F.C. yesterday for the final game of the season. Wonderful to see Ebere back at the ground where he got a wonderful reception. Congratulations to Arsenal on lifting the trophy for the first time in 22 years. However, I do have an idea for the Premier League …. As Palace season ticket holders we were told under no circumstances were we to swap our tickets and let Arsenal fans have them. Indeed, if we were found to have done that we would be denied season tickets for next year. Completely understandable as I’m sure there were safety concerns. Not surprising though that we were actually surrounded by Arsenal fans pretending to be Palace fans by either wearing Palace shirts or plain white tops for the match only to take them off and replace them with Arsenal shirts they had in their pockets at the end of the game! Now I’m not complaining about what the fans did at all. They were wonderful, friendly and even joined in on “Glad All Over” and applauded the Palace team, players and Oliver Glasner at the end of the game. We got lots of “Good luck in Leipzig” wishes from them too. It was a really friendly atmosphere. But I completely understand their frustration at how hard it was to get tickets for many who were lifelong Arsenal supporters. Chatting with them they said that 2400 seats available for sale. 1200 kept by Arsenal for themselves so only 1200 seats available for the match where they were going to be presented with the trophy. No wonder lots of fans did all they could to get tickets any way possible. So here is a suggestion for the Premier League for next season when working out the fixtures….. Realistically there are probably only 4 or 5 teams who will possibly win the league next year. So why not make sure all those teams have a home game as their final game of the season? In that way the tens of thousands of supporters who go to every home game will have the opportunity to see their team lift the trophy and actually be there rather than having to watch it later on TV? Surely that can’t be too difficult to arrange and if all the potential winners have a home game as their final match there is no unfair advantage towards any of those sides? What do you think? Here Abdul Carter defends his public trashing of his teammate, Jaxson Dart, and causing a national ruckus on social media. As a lifelong New York Giants fan, I'm disgusted by Abdul Carter. Carter, on social media, called out his teammate Jaxson Dart, the NY Giants QB, for having the temerity to introduce the President of the United States at an event in New York. The content of Dart's introduction was innocuous, and non partisan. Here's what Carter says: "Some things are bigger than football, and this is one of those things. Jaxson is one of our leaders - he's the face of our franchise. He represents himself and what he does, and he represents all of us. If he chooses to align himself with a man like President Trump, it's my responsibility based on what I believe and what I stand on to not only show my teammates that I'm against that, but to show the world." And exactly why does Carter think he has a moral duty to trash his teammate to the world over a difference in political outlook? But here's the thing. Carter says he idolizes Giants great Lawrence Taylor, who is an outspoken supporter of President Trump, who actively campaigned for President Trump. So doesn't Carter have any problem with Lawrence Taylor? Carter arrogantly even asked the team to be able to wear Lawrence Taylor's #56 . . . . . . even though Carter had only arrived as a rookie, had not played a single game for the Giants, and had not yet achieved anything on the field for the Giants. Carter was told "NO," LT's number is retired forever. Carter then went on to grossly underperform, playing the same position as Taylor -- outside linebacker and edge rusher. He got only 4 sacks for the entire season. For Lawrence Taylor, getting 4 sacks in a single game was just another day at the office. Taylor, of course, is the greatest defensive player in NFL history -- generally considered the 2nd or 3rd greatest player in NFL history behind Jim Brown and Tom Brady. Abdul Carter caused trouble for the Giants his entire rookie season. He was often late to practice. He was benched for the start of one game as punishment for missing a team meeting in favor of napping. Carter did not appear to be putting in full effort in practices or in games. He was an entitled bellyacher and a complainer his entire rookie year. Meanwhile, Jaxson Dart over-performed expectations for his rookie year. He was also drafted in the first round, though lower than Carter. Dart is widely considered a rising star at QB. He played in 12 games, passed for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdown passes against just 5 interceptions. He also rushed for 487 yards and had 9 rushing touchdowns. He was named Offensive Rookie of the Month for October. So Dart had a much better rookie season (by miles) than Abdul Carter, who was advertised as possibly the next Lawrence Taylor. Not only is Carter no Lawrence Taylor, he should not even have been drafted in the first round based on his rookie year performance. Dart is a player the Giants can build a team around. And he's a great kid any parent would be proud of. By contrast, Carter beat up a tow truck driver in 2024. Carter was enraged that his car was being towed because it was illegally parked. The content of Dart's introduction was innocuous, and non partisan. Here's what Carter says: "Some things are bigger than football, and this is one of those things. Jaxson is one of our leaders - he's the face of our franchise. He represents himself and what he does, and he represents all of us. If he chooses to align himself with a man like President Trump, it's my responsibility based on what I believe and what I stand on to not only show my teammates that I'm against that, but to show the world." And exactly why does Carter think he has a moral duty to trash his teammate to the world over a difference in political outlook? But here's the thing. Carter says he idolizes Giants great Lawrence Taylor, who is an outspoken supporter of President Trump, who actively campaigned for President Trump. So doesn't Carter have any problem with Lawrence Taylor? Carter arrogantly even asked the team to be able to wear Lawrence Taylor's #56 . . . . . . even though Carter had only arrived as a rookie, had not played a single game for the Giants, and had not yet achieved anything on the field for the Giants. Carter was told "NO," LT's number is retired forever. Carter then went on to grossly underperform, playing the same position as Taylor -- outside linebacker and edge rusher. He got only 4 sacks for the entire season. For Lawrence Taylor, getting 4 sacks in a single game was just another day at the office. Taylor, of course, is the greatest defensive player in NFL history -- generally considered the 2nd or 3rd greatest player in NFL history behind Jim Brown and Tom Brady. Abdul Carter caused trouble for the Giants his entire rookie season. He was often late to practice. He was benched for the start of one game as punishment for missing a team meeting in favor of napping. Carter did not appear to be putting in full effort in practices or in games. He was an entitled bellyacher and a complainer his entire rookie year. Meanwhile, Jaxson Dart over-performed expectations for his rookie year. He was also drafted in the first round, though lower than Carter. Dart is widely considered a rising star at QB. He played in 12 games, passed for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdown passes against just 5 interceptions. He also rushed for 487 yards and had 9 rushing touchdowns. He was named Offensive Rookie of the Month for October. So Dart had a much better rookie season (by miles) than Abdul Carter, who was advertised as possibly the next Lawrence Taylor. Not only is Carter no Lawrence Taylor, he should not even have been drafted in the first round based on his rookie year performance. Dart is a player the Giants can build a team around. I VEHEMENTLY disagree with Paul Finebaum’s criticism of Coach Deion Sanders, Sheduer Sanders and Colorado. He called them irrelevant and that they don’t matter to College Football. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Colorado is very relevant and broke TV viewership records last year even after their 3-0 start that saw them finish the year 4-8. They out drew some of the biggest brands in all of College Football last year. Their blowout loss to Oregon had 10.03 million viewers, which topped the Notre Dame-Ohio State game. Shedeur Sanders stated that Colorado is everyone’s Super Bowl game when they play them. HE IS CORRECT, if you take the time to understand what he meant. Every team that played Colorado last year played their hardest against them because they knew everyone was watching and it was their opportunity to shine in front of the masses. It wasn’t JUST ABOUT winning, they wanted to humiliate them and kill their confidence. It pains many that Coach Prime, his sons, Travis Hunter, his coaches and all his players are still walking in their purpose and have never wavered for a second. They know the mission they are on and won’t back down in the face of adversity. Sometimes I don’t understand why Ajit Agarkar was and is always against Sanju Samson In 2023, India had 3 squads for the Asia Cup, Asian Games & ODI World Cup. 31 different players got selected across those tournaments & somehow Sanju wasn’t part of any squads. What’s even crazier is that he was picked as a reserve player for the Asia Cup, which meant he wasn’t part of the Asian Games squad & it also affected his plans to play County Cricket. So in the end he wasn’t part of the Asia Cup squad, wasn’t part of the Asian Games squad & couldn’t continue with his County plans either. Everyone who followed the ODI matches before the 2023 World Cup knew Sanju was the most deserving guy who wasn’t picked in the squad. When Sanju scored 3 T20I centuries as an opener in 2024, Ajit Agarkar openly said he was only playing because Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal were unavailable. Imagine saying that about a player who had just scored 3 centuries in 5 matches for India in T20Is something no one has done before in a year. Most players would get backed after performances like that. That was so disrespectful from the national selector. I wonder how Sanju would have felt that day. Then came the ODI explanation. Ajit Agarkar said Sanju wasn’t being picked because he was a top-order batter. But Sanju has literally batted everywhere in ODI cricket other than opening and his numbers have been excellent irrespective of the position. Anthony Kim will play with Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm tomorrow in the final group at LIV Golf Adelaide. They spoke about AK’s story: Bryson: “What an incredible story, first off. Going from the lowest of lows, almost moving away from this earth and then coming back and really taking accountability and raising his little girl and being a family man and being 1 percent better every day. It's an inspiring story that I think honestly should have a lot more media attention than it does. It deserves that. “It shows some of the opportunities that LIV Golf can provide and give hope to people. It's another opportunity to play. I think that's what's so brilliant about it is you've got a guy like that that's struggled pretty much his entire career, and this is really when he has become more of himself than any other time, more of a family man, a father, a great person that cares deeply about playing good golf now. That's all he cares about, and he loves it. I think that's really inspiring for anybody at any age, that you can pick it up and be a better person. “My hats off to him for doing everything he's doing, working as hard as he has to get back. He's an incredible talent, obviously; we know that. He's starting to show it, and for him to be in the final group will be fun. FREEBIE Behind the Scenes post! I reference Minecraft a lot on the comics because it's more well known, but 10yo's true love is a game called Terraria (basically Minecraft, but 2D and a LOT more stuff!) He's such a huge fan that his last TWO birthdays have been Terraria themed! With the internet being the cool place it is, after posting about my kids obsession, I became mutuals with the creator of Terraria, Redigit! HUGE Mom Cred earned!!! 😎 We got to chatting and at one point he said something along the lines of "So when's the Terraria comic coming?" He was joking, but now I wanted to make it happen! The problem was, Terraria is a bit more niche than Minecraft, so I needed a way to reference it while still appealing to everyone. I came up with the idea of Fran trying to keep up while Vincent switches through games. Terraria and Minecraft were obvious contenders, but I needed a #3. 8yo had been playing a lot of Pokémon, so that was my first idea, but Pokémon now looks very different to the classic look I wanted to draw. I was stumped on the 3rd game for a while until my kid brought up Animal Crossing! I'd drawn the family as Animal Crossing characters back in 2020 so it would be great to have an excuse to use them in a comic! I got to work on the comic by tracing real game characters and tweaking them to make them my own. I redid the Animal Crossing ones, making them closer to real cat characters in the game, but after looking back at my 2020 reedition, I decided to go with that one instead because it was more fun! When it came time to draw the Terraria characters, I showed 10yo the comic and asked if he could help me by designing some in-game characters I could trace. He was OUTRAGED! Not at the request, but at the fact Vincent goes back to Minecraft at the end instead of his beloved Terraria! I explained that the Minecraft movie was coming out, so it would be good for the comic to start with Minecraft Fran, but he wasn't having any of it and refused to help me until I changed it. Well what choice did I have?! I changed it! 😅 I didn't actually end up using the in-game characters he made (turned out easier to adapt models I found online) but I gleefully took his clever idea of doing game chat boxes instead of speech bubbles! The revisionist history about Baker Mayfield and the Browns is out of control. We're happy for Baker and the success he's found in Tampa Bay. But everyone claiming he'd be doing the same exact thing right now in Cleveland is just lying to themselves. Every season, it seems like we have to say goodbye to a big name. This year… well it looks to be at least 3 big losses - John Stones, Nathan Benjamin Aké and Bernardo Mota Veiga de Carvalho e Silva. Wow, what an insane amount this trio has done for the club. All starters in the treble season and they’ve won the lot. Let’s start with Nathan Ake, he came from Bournemouth in 2020 for a fee of £40.4m - I mean at the time that seemed a lot for a back up centre back. He was steady, he was comfortable with the ball, solid at the back, some top blocks and some great last ditch tackles. But in 22/23 he was played at left back… and what on earth did he become? An absolute monster. ELITE 1v1 against any right winger. Unbelievable positioning and reading of the game. Even at times, getting forwards and he chipped in with some important goals. The best left back in the league that season. Whenever called upon, between his injury-stricken City career, he’s been fantastic. Most recently in the Cup final against Arsenal where many thought he’d be a weak link… he was absolutely absurd. Wherever he goes… we wish him the best of luck. John Stones, well… if injury hadn’t been the main factor in his career, he’d not only have a statue alongside Vincent Kompany, he’d have one outside Wembley. The general, the most tactical defender the game has ever seen. Whilst over his decade at City, he’s grown as a player and ironed out mistakes and just become an absolute Rolls Royce of a footballer, we can only speak about the treble season. The ONE season Johnny Stones managed to stay fit we won it all. Moving into the midfield and just bossing the park in every metric. Same number of dribbles completed in a Champions League final as Lionel fricking Messi? Unreal. General John Stones, definitely a fan favourite and we will be GUTTED to see him go. Well this year it’s finally confirmed… Bernie will leave the Blues being the face, alongside Kevin De Bruyne, of Manchester City under Pep Guardiola. The way his game has evolved is unbelievable. Once the tricky little attacker we signed from Monaco ten years ago, now dropping between the centre backs and a tenacious little midfielder tirelessly fighting for the team all over the pitch. His availability sees him become the only player in the modern era to be in City’s top 10 for appearances made for the club. He had everything on the pitch, and for City he was a fantastic little shithouse. But off the pitch he’s always had our hearts. Serious and passionate yet funny and joyful… Bernardo, it hurts to see you go. Thank you for everything. Finally, going back to the fraud family that is the Bilzerians: The only reason that Bilzerian isn’t under investigation right now for fraud is because his company Ignite was actually his father’s, who is now being investigated for frauding the U.S. i.e., Danny Boy was so incompetent as a CEO it was a fake listing so his father could (allegedly) commit more crime. None of this even goes into his abusing women, getting kicked out of nightclubs, nor his antisemitism and love of anti-American forces. So who is Danny Boy Bilzerian? A lying loser. Nothing more.
