In the 70s, these organizations probably had the most code to deal with - globally! - and things like distributed computing were pioneered thanks to these use cases. 2. The three axes of software architecture Grady argues that when talking about software architecture, we should look at these three dimensions: ceremony, risk and complexity. 3. The economics of software and software architecture are always connected Machine time was very expensive in the 1960s and 1970s, and software had to be written from scratch. Good architecture meant writing highly performant code to utilize these rather limited machines. However, these days, machine time has gotten very cheap, and there are also plenty of “building blocks” at our disposal: from frameworks to cloud services. Software architecture is frequently still connected with cost: to decide on what services and technologies to use, taking the cost aspect into account! FlokiUltras3 #FlokiUltras3 💕Hello, I am Lane, a Venezuelan Floki Viking follower of the FLOKI project, participating in this #FlokiUltras3 from Falcón and Caracas – Venezuela!💕 I’ve always loved promoting the Floki ecosystem everywhere, and this time, I’ve prepared a wide-ranging communication campaign about FLOKI in our capital, Caracas, and various places in Falcón State – Venezuela. All of this is accompanied by a song I wrote, which I consider a Motivational Anthem that represents us because it perfectly reflects Floki’s philosophy. We are a warrior-like, united community that has gone through many situations that have greatly strengthened us—moments that have made us grow and move forward. No matter how many times we’ve stumbled and fallen along the way, what matters is that we always stand firm to keep advancing with commitment, humility, brotherhood, and respect. THAT’S FLOKI!❤️💪 ☀️In the video, you can see the communication campaign I carried out to give great visibility to the FLOKI project in my region: 🔹 The projection of "Nosotros somos Floki" through a large digital advertising screen in the center of the capital (Caracas) for 20 days, a highly trafficked and visible location, where all passersby could see it and learn about the project. 🔸 Participation in sports activities (sports marathon) wearing the Floki logo and joining the race alongside more than 500 runners. 🔹 Creation of several giant Floki masks, which roamed the city for days displaying the Floki logo to people and raising awareness about the project among all passersby and vehicles in the area. 🔸 A Viking visits the city wearing a Viking helmet and a LED-lit bag with the Floki logo, interacting warmly with people, handing out informational flyers about Floki, and sharing details about this great project. Several children and adults took the opportunity to take photos with him for an unforgettable memory. 🔹 With the help of a friend, I made fondant cakes featuring the well-designed Floki logo, which I then displayed and distributed to various people on some streets of my city. 🔸 Three guys dance to the rhythm of a catchy song, with lyrics I wrote based on the philosophy that has characterized us as the FLOKI community: “FLOKI LLEGÓ, FLOKI GANÓ” (translated into several languages). The guys dance among the crowd in one of the most iconic and busy parks in my city, wearing shirts with the Floki logo and projecting the joy that has always defined us as a Viking community. Floki is here to stay, continuing to gain adoption, growth, and success. 🔹 Together with my children, I created a very traditional, recreational, and typical game from my country and Latin America, a “volantín, papalote, papagayo, cometa, barrilete” (kite) with the Floki logo, to symbolize that this project has become rooted in our culture and is part of us. This kite was flown in the sky, reaching great heights, just as the FLOKI project has done throughout all these years. 🔸 At the beginning of the video, a runner is shown starting a race, representing the beginnings of FLOKI, a journey full of ups and downs and challenges that have been overcome thanks to the commitment, responsibility, and hard work of an entire team. At the end of the video, the runner raises their hands in a gesture of victory, reflecting everything we as a community have achieved, knowing that the race is not over yet. There is still a long way to go because FLOKI is a project that never stops working and growing, and as a community, we are called to continue working together. 💕It’s a work done with a lot of love, humility, and affection for the entire FLOKI community. And since it’s familiar, you’ll be able to sing along well, right? I’ll be looking forward to that at the concert. “Race” is cool, right? It’s also a song I really like. Honestly, all the songs this time are good, right? Tell me honestly, if you don’t like something, just say you don’t. This is for you. Alright, let’s move to the next song. At the concert, you all have to do this together, okay? This is definitely a group sing-along. I intentionally added a lot of those parts in this album. Since you’re coming to the venue, I wanted to create parts where everyone can sing together. “Rocket” is like that, “Help” is like that, there are a lot of parts where you’ll need to join in. This is totally his emotional style. I really remember when I was making this song. I wondered, “Can I really do all of this?” And it was really cold back then while filming. My body kept shaking like this, it was so cold. I really like all of them. I worked hard on every single song. And finally, the last one: The reason I made “Good Day” is because I sincerely wanted to tell you to have a good day, every single day. And I made it thinking that when you listen to this song, it could be the moment you wake up each day. All of us, me included, there are times in life when we feel tired, struggle, and want to give up. I’ll talk more about it after the album is released. But whatever happens, I hope you never give up. You might feel down right now, or feel like giving up, whether it’s friendships, love, or anything at all. But don’t give up. Because I’m here, and you also have people around you who love you. For the first time in four years, this post is about me. My name is April Huggett. I’m #Canadian. I’m #autistic. I’m a mother, a director, a process operator, a #medic, and a human being. For four years I have given my life to #Ukraine. Every day has been about service: to soldiers, to civilians, to this country that is not my own. I fundraise, I manage logistics, I build systems, I meet volunteers, I run platforms, I live at the front. I do the work. But somewhere along the way, people stopped seeing me as a person. Because I share parts of my life, people think I am creating drama. I’m not. I am simply a human being speaking about my experiences while continuing to carry an enormous weight. And one of those experiences for the past year and a half has been being stalked, harassed, and targeted by тату Аня зубко 🫡 Xena . This is not something abstract. This is real life. This includes false complaints to my brigade, interference with volunteers and organizations, attempts to stop support from reaching my soldiers, mass posts about me having HIV and ongoing public attacks against me and the men I serve beside. It has escalated to threats against me, Rachel Jamison , and NAFO_trinzu🇪🇪❤️🇺🇦🔱🦉. It has escalated to the posting of private images of me, taken out of context, used to humiliate and degrade me publicly….to try to reduce everything I’ve done to lies and slander. And I am expected to stay silent. I am expected to “be strong” and “not create drama” because Ukraine is at war. Do you understand what that actually looks like? It looks like being a soldier, a medic, a fundraiser, a coordinator, a representative, all while also sitting in meetings with commanders because of false accusations. It looks like trying to hold everything together in Kramatorsk while someone actively works against you from behind the lines. If you don’t know where Kramatorsk is, look it up. Then understand that this is where I am trying to function, every day, under this pressure. So I am asking questions now. To individuals. To organizations. To anyone who continues to support or associate with this behavior: Why would you support someone who calls for others to be taken to the trenches and shot? Why would you support someone who spreads lies about soldiers and volunteers? Why would you support someone who uses humiliation and exploitation of a woman’s image to discredit her work? Why would you support someone who actively interferes with aid to soldiers during a war? I came here and for three years I drove the frontlines alone, helping anyone I could. In 2024, I signed a three-year contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine to continue that commitment. I chose this. I stand by it. But I am still human. And I deserve protection too. I do not deserve to be stalked, bullied, threatened, and harassed for over a year by anyone. Not by enemies. Not by foreigners. Not by people who claim to support Ukraine. So I will ask one final question: When will people stop telling me to endure this, and start standing up against it? Because I have stood up for others for four years. It is not unreasonable to ask for the same in return. And the worst part is, she hasn’t posted in days on X so all of you will forget by the time she posts next, even though her posts are still there, saying we should be killed. And before we went to the internet we went to 37 окрема бригада морської піхоти, I got a lawyer, we went to military police…but as long as she is useful she is tolerated. Every single supporter is complicit, whether you want to admit it or not. That is it, that is the post. I am not a punching bag for psychos in Ukraine because I volunteered to help the Ukrainian people. And if you agree I need your help to stop this forever. Make a complaint to her brigade and the fundraisers supporting her. End our torture.
