Details of the Accused: Mohammed Akeel (19), Occ: Courier Boy, R/o Bolakpur, Musheerabad, Hyderabad. Mohammed Ateeq (22), Occ: Pvt Job, R/o Aghapura, Nampally, Hyderabad. Case Brief: The accused were frequently performing reckless stunts on their motorcycles to gain social media traction. These acts were causing severe distress and posing a threat to the safety of regular commuters in the high-security zone of the Secretariat. Following a tip-off and continuous monitoring, the Saifabad Police conducted a raid and arrested the duo. Their motorcycles and mobile phones used for filming the stunts have been seized, and the accused have been sent to judicial remand. #Hyderabad : Two students were arrested by the RGIA Airport police on 17th Feb, for performing dangerous #Stunts (#CarStunts) with #BMW and #Fortuner luxury cars on #ORR stretch near #Shamshabad in the early hours of 9th Feb. The video had gone viral on social media platforms and it raised #RoadSafety concerns among the motorists. They removed the number plates during stunts, the RGI Airport police traced the cars with the help of CCTV and after identifying the drivers caught them. The luxury cars were also seized. The arrested are Mohammed Obaidullah (25), a resident of Rajendranagar and Zohair Siddiqui (25), a resident of Malakpet on 9th February went on the ORR Shamshabad and were doing stunts in two different cars. The act was captured on the closed circuit cameras installed on the ORR stretch.

Two #Bengaluru girls have been booked for allegedly assaulting a cab driver, the public and the police under the influence of alcohol on Friday night. The accused have been identified as Liza, a resident of #BannerghattaRoad in #BTMLayout Second Stage, and Amran Mathew, from #Koramangala. Both the accused are students. The police said the two girls were riding a two-wheeler when they dashed into a cab driven by Ahmed Gurkar, 47. They fell onto the road after colliding with the car. The rear left portion of the car also got damaged in the incident. “I helped the girls get up. When they were leaving, I stopped them and told them about the damage, asking them to pay for repairs. The girls started abusing me filthily and assaulted me,” Gurkar stated in the complaint. The police said the situation escalated rapidly as the intoxicated girls attacked Gurkar with their helmets before attempting to flee. When bystanders intervened and demanded an explanation, the girls turned violent toward them as well. A passerby contacted the police helpline 112, and the Hulimavu police staff rushed to the spot. The girls also put up resistance when police officers tried to put them into a Hoysala vehicle. After a brief commotion, they were taken to Hulimavu police station, where their parents were summoned. “We have registered a case against the girls, but they were let off at 3 am on Saturday with their parents after they were served notice,” said a police officer.

According to the police, they received credible information that illegal beef would be served at the feast. Charges have been filed against the accused under sections related to cow slaughter, transportation of beef, illegal sale or serving of meat in a public place, and hurting religious sentiments. Police personnel deployed for security responded immediately, and they detained those who breached the security and attempted to reach Chief Minister Vijay. The incident occurred on Thursday morning when the Chief Minister’s convoy was proceeding from his residence in Neelankarai to the Secretariat. More than 100 people had gathered near the inner entrance gate hoping to meet the Chief Minister. Among them were Rajesh Kannan (50), his wife Anandhi (43), and relatives of their son Akash Delison. They sought to submit a petition alleging that Akash had died in police custody within the limits of Manamadurai police station in March this year. They claimed a case had been registered against six police personnel, but no action had been taken and sought transfer of the investigation to CB-CID. As the group crossed the barricades and entered the road, police personnel deployed for convoy security stopped them. Constable Muthuganesh of Tambaram City Armed Reserve, who was part of the lead vehicle, fell while intervening and suffered an abrasion on his left elbow. Police said Rajesh Kannan crossed the barricade after breaching the security and ran towards the convoy. Constable Ramkumar of Tondiarpet police station attempted to stop him, following which Kannan punched the constable in the chest, police said. Ramkumar later complained of chest pain and was rushed to govt hospital for first aid. The convoy reached the Secretariat portico at 10:02 am. TET PAPER LEAK CASE. 3 ARRESTED. Thane Additional Commissioner Ashok Dudhe says: "Information was received by Pawan Bansod, DCP (Zone 2), that certain individuals were coming to Bhiwandi today to sell the question papers intended for the TET exam scheduled in Maharashtra tomorrow. He assembled a team and laid a trap, resulting in his team detaining three individuals in the Kongaon area. Upon searching them, mobile phones, debit cards, credit cards, and cash were recovered; additionally, four TET question papers, intended for use tomorrow, were seized from their possession. A 40-year-old guest lecturer was allegedly murdered by her male friend, who later set her body on fire inside a car before dying by suicide, near Jinkebachchahalli village in Doddaballapur taluk on Saturday. The Bengaluru city police in a joint operation with Puducherry police arrested techie J Kenneth, accused of murdering the parents and sister of his girlfriend Shwetha. Kenneth was spotted by Puducherry police when he was drinking at a wine shop, and on seeing the cops, Kenneth started running. Police said Shwetha and Kenneth, both engineering graduates and former classmates, had been in a live-in relationship for over a year, which they had kept hidden from their families. The relationship came under strain after bank recovery notices related to Shwetha's loans began reaching her family's residence in Marathahalli. In the days leading up to the incident, Shwetha's mother reportedly visited the couple's apartment after receiving the notices, followed by her father and younger sister. A 21-year-old woman was allegedly kidnapped by four persons sent by her family members in Rajasthan after she married a 23-year-old man against their wishes, triggering a road accident in Bengaluru that left six people injured on Wednesday. Pooja, daughter of Gunaramu and a resident of Melwas village in Rajasthan, had married her 23-year-old lover, Om Prakash, around nine months ago. The couple later moved to Bengaluru and had been residing in Agrahara Dasarahalli. According to police, Pooja's family, allegedly opposed to the marriage, sent four persons to Bengaluru. The accused allegedly took her from her residence and fled in a Hyundai Venue bearing registration number RJ 22 CC 9691. While driving the SUV recklessly, they collided with several other vehicles, injuring six people. People on the road then chased the car and caught the accused. Videos doing rounds on social media showed the accused being dragged out of the car. They were also thrashed. The accused, identified as Rakesh (31), Karan (25) and Ayan (18), all from Rajasthan, were arrested. Another accused, Saddam, who was allegedly driving the vehicle, is currently on the run. Police suspect that Saddam panicked after Pooja started screaming and drove erratically. During the escape, the car reportedly hit three to four two-wheelers. The injured have been identified as Prithviraj (12), Yashika (9), Amul (35), Mani (64), Jayalakshmi (57) and Santosh (33). Jayalakshmi sustained a head injury and is currently admitted to the ICU. Police have also seized the SUV. Police suspect that Pooja's paternal aunt allegedly contacted Saddam, asking him to carry out the kidnapping. Pooja had remained in contact with her aunt after the marriage. During their conversations, the family allegedly learnt about her Bengaluru residence. Watching and hearing about the stampede in Bangalore made me wonder where we are going ! This is not a national team winning the World Cup ! It’s a mere franchise called RCB which works on commercial lines and does not have a single Hyderabad player in it !? It’s not even a #Hyderabad based team ! The night round officers were totally taken by surprise at 12 in the midnight as hordes of youngsters and revellers descended on Tank bund ,NTR marg and Necklace road and behaved in an unruly manner, sample of which you can see in the videos below, quite alarmingly. Traffic got jammed in all directions . Seeing the situation and the hooliganism , extra forces were rushed and a lathi charge done to disperse the unruly crowd.From a police officer’s perspective, this unannounced celebrations on the streets by large gatherings are a big danger to public safety and may lead to exactly what we saw in Bengaluru. What if there were some deaths in Hyderabad too ? Can anyone expect celebrations for RCB in Hyderabad city ! But with the social media playing a huge role across the country and the globe , perhaps police has to be alert for everyone and everything in future ! A 19-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her father during a counselling session in Uttar Pradesh's Banda district after she insisted on living with a man she had married against her family's wishes, police said. The shocking incident took place in the Badousa police station area on Thursday and has triggered widespread outrage across the district. According to police, the woman had been in a relationship with a young man from her neighbourhood. On May 18, she left home with him, prompting her family to file a complaint. A case was subsequently registered and police launched a search operation to trace her. REPORT: ELECTION RIGGING On Saturday 25 May 2024 it was reported by the MK Party members on the ground that a truck was seen entering Moumalanga Township in Hammersdale unit 3 near Kwamagaba , the MK members kept an observation and noticed that the truck was carrying voting material which included ballot boxes , scanners and other sensitive material , these ballot boxes were estimated to about 400 boxed unit voting ballot papers and scanners The same was reported to the Provincial office of Umkhonto Wesizwe , A media hipe was activated which resulted from Mr Vincent Mdunge and Prof Mkhize to attend The following observations were made , members were angry and volatile and demanded that the three women and a truck driver be arrested immediately, senior commissioned officers from the SAPS General Sokhela and Brig Msimango were present at the crime scene , a sworn statement was obtained from the member of the MK Party who witnessed the incident and a case docket was opened at Mpumalanga SAPS The alleged stolen ballot papers were confiscated by the SAPS and loaded back on a truck which was later escorted to the IEC warehouse under the custody of the SAPS This emanated from the fact that ballot papers and scanners were a bit too many and that the local police station did not have proper storage facilities . All the material was escorted by the SAPS under lock and key The three women and the driver were questioned by the SAPS and statements were obtained from them to account for being found in possession of voting material All exhibits were entered into the SAP 13 Register and no arrests were made in the view that the SAPS had about 48 hours to investigate On Sunday 26 -05 -2024 around 01-00 another report of voting material was reported on a funeral pallor in Rd 1 Chesterville The SAPS was also dispatched and sealed boxes of directions were seized , one person was taken in for questioning by the police The IEC material was seized by the police It is concerning that too many reports of election rigging are prevalent this time.
