The Western Cape and Cape Town, in particular, have the biggest slums in Africa, and black migration in South Africa is partly due to the struggle of black and colored people to find jobs, get promotions, and start businesses there because of apartheid-era type racism. The DA government's reduction in building houses in Cape Town has led to a huge shortage of accommodation. Meanwhile, international irregularly documented migrants from countries like Israel and Ukraine are driving up property prices in the Cape, forcing blacks and coloreds to migrate to ANC-run cities and provinces for better economic opportunities and affordable housing. Blacks and coloreds in other provinces risk impoverishment and homelessness if they allow the DA to expand its governance beyond Cape Town. Unfortunately, due to the fact that the South African media is largely owned by former apartheid-era companies, there's a lot of propaganda propelling the DA to control more provinces despite its failure to serve black people in the Western Cape. Sadly, many black and colored South Africans lack the resources to travel to the Western Cape to witness firsthand the abject poverty that forces people into drug dealing, extortion, and gangsterism, contributing to Cape Town's highest murder and gangsterism rates in Africa.

By the end of my first term, the US-Israel relationship will be deeper and stronger than ever because it won’t be a client relationship, it will be a true friendship. The centerpiece of my Middle East policy in Year 1 will be to consummate “Abraham Accords 2.0” which will be good for the U.S. and good for Israel. If we can lead the way in helping Israel fully integrate into the economic and security infrastructure of the Middle East via Abraham Accords 2.0, it is better for everyone if Israel is truly able to stand on its own feet with support from partners across the Middle East that we diplomatically bring to the table. We will not leave Israel hanging out to dry - ever.

The locals are suffering, can’t afford rent, can’t afford anything. The truth remains: Gauteng is consistently the largest provincial economy and the economic powerhouse of South Africa. The economy of Gauteng is so big that its contribution to the national GDP is greater than the Western Cape and KZN combined. 🤣

This war is what forced Zimbabwe into ESAP, the Economic Structural Adjustment Program that began to deindustrialize Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe lost over US$13 billion (R234 billion) to liberate South Africa. All in all the whole of SADC lost over $100 billion to liberate SA.
