People are losing their lives due to hunger and illness, and several women and children have died as a result of airstrikes carried out by the state. She said the state has intensified its policies of enforced disappearances and targeted killings; five people have been killed by state backed death squads in the Makran region. All these actions are part of a broader attempt to suppress the Baloch nation and silence those who speak out.
