People are losing their lives due to hunger and illness, and several women and children have died as a result of airstrikes carried out by the state. She said the state has intensified its policies of enforced disappearances and targeted killings; five people have been killed by state backed death squads in the Makran region. All these actions are part of a broader attempt to suppress the Baloch nation and silence those who speak out. BYC leaders are being imprisoned, and the names of various organizational members are being placed on the Fourth Schedule to stifle their voices. She urged the nation to rise and speak up against the ongoing genocide. If we remain silent, it will only allow this genocide to grow. #StopBalochGenocide
