Say what you will about Californians but at least millions of us are fighting harder for America than Republican senate leader John Thune who is acting like he is on the side of Gavin Newsom and against 85% of Americans on election integritry. 1.3 million Californians from every political party have succeeded in getting Voter ID to a people's vote on the Nov '26 ballot while 241k South Dakota Republicans elected John Thune who is failing them and all of us by not doing what it takes to pass the Save America Act.

Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) says illegals voting isn’t a serious issue—he shamefully laughs about it: “There is no serious issue with respect to people who are here illegally voting. After all, you would subject yourself to major criminal penalties.” There is a serious issue because there is currently no way to tell if illegals are voting in many states. In states like California, declaring residency status during registration relies on the honor system. When there’s no way to tell if illegals are voting, of course there won’t be a large record of it. Pass the SAVE America Act!

It’s absolutely INSANE how Dearborn used to look like the America that built the Model T. Now it looks like a different country with American street signs. Over half the city is Middle Eastern or North African ancestry, and nearly a third were born abroad. When a Muslim voting bloc hits critical mass, it doesn’t just “enrich culture” and try to assimilate — it captures schools, councils, and law enforcement. Dearborn’s mayor even told a Christian resident on the record he wasn’t welcome, and that the day he moved out the city would get a parade. America is already seeing parallel societies inside the country. In New York, a traffic officer was caught on camera explaining why taxis outside a mosque weren’t getting tickets: during prayer time, they get a pass, while everyone else still does. America better wake up.

Did you know that if Sen. John Thune and his RINO ilk somehow force the Senate to leave on vacation, that's not the end of the story? If you didn't know, President Trump can choose to call/compel them back into session under certain circumstances. Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution makes clear that the President may, if he deems it a worthy situation under what's referred to in the Constitution as the threshold of "...extraordinary Occasions." This essentially boils down to a President determining that a moment of sufficient importance exists; he can convene both Houses, or either of them individually. So, on the off chance that, upon arrival, they act like petulant children and let America down (yet again) by voting for another vacation recess, I absolutely expect Trump will cancel it again. Yes, he can do that. And to invoke that power, he would issue a proclamation setting the date and time for the session to begin—which I would assume would be right away and thereby making them all fly back. Then, upon their return, if they refuse to work to pass the SAVE America Act and vote to go on vacation again, Trump can order them back again. And no, there is no limit to how many times he can invoke that power. The way it hurts is that you wait for all the Senators to get home and call them back immediately. Rinse and repeat as necessary. It would be a nightmare for them—and a PR disaster heading into the midterm election. I say, make it hurt.

Trump has been busy renaming things America. Gulf of America, Lake America, presumably soon the America Ocean. And yes, before the pedants arrive, America does sit in the country's official name, so the shorthand is technically his to use. But it is shorthand shared with an entire hemisphere, because the Americas stretch from Nunavut to Patagonia and contain thirty-four other nations who are every bit as American as Ohio. So this is rather like the President of France renaming the Mediterranean "the Gulf of Europe" and then strutting around Paris convinced he has planted a flag for France, while a Belgian quietly points out that he has just done everyone else a favour. If precision were the goal, we would be sailing on the Gulf of the United States, which admittedly sounds like a failed insurance company. But this is a man whose grasp of geography is on nodding terms with his grasp of tariffs, so we should not expect miracles.
