CBIC explicitly confirms that for notified Section 9(5) services (maids fall in this category), the e-commerce operator is treated as the supplier for GST purposes. Also assuming that no maid pays income tax as their taxable income is less than ₹12 lakh annually. They are also not liable to pay GST for the services they provide. Grief is weird. I will never judge a grieving widow but NOT being pregnant after your husband was murdered IS THE BLESSING. Missing your spouse but wanting to be pregnant and have a baby be born into that grief would be emphatically harder. The two children she has are the blessing and I have no doubt she will go on to have more children and remarry but no, that is entirely too much!
