🇬🇷 Greece v Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Steve Clarke….prove me wrong….but I have the fear. Yes, we’ve got the results to get into this position but our performances have been poor for a while now. The boos at Hampden, after our 2-1 win over Belarus, suggests the Tartan Army are not happy at what they’re seeing either. The bookies have Greece, with nothing to play for, favourites to beat us and that kinda sums up how we’ve played in this group. I’d love nothing more than Clarke proving me wrong but I’ve always felt that this squad of players, the best in a generation, have not fulfilled its potential under his management. Yes I’ve been critical of Clarke for much of his tenure, as Scotland manager, and that’s because I’ve been frustrated at what could have been with these players. For many in this squad this will be their last chance to reach a World Cup and the best chance is to get there as group winners. Why? The playoffs scare me. For me it’s win or bust in the next two games. If we fail tonight, or Tuesday, then we’re unlikely to reach the World Cup. Throwing a cell phone at President Trump is uncalled for and just plain STUPID considering cell phones have been rigged around the world to explode to assassinate people. It's great to see Trump's protection detail recognizing that fact in an instant to kick the phone away at the risk of his own leg being blown off, but that guy should have been HAULED out of the bleachers. No ACTUAL Trump supporter would just throw their phone at Trump to risk him being tackled and injured in the scuffle to get him to safety - which btw - also didn't happen but should have.

Disappointing to see Arda Güler walk away without acknowledging or shaking hands with the Australian players after the final whistle. Moments like that say a lot about character. Turkey have some outstanding footballers, but sportsmanship matters just as much as talent. The Socceroos earned their victory and deserved that respect. Take the loss, shake hands, and move on. $NEW: Student athlete left paralyzed after he was shot at a Waffle House while coming to his friend’s aid. 18-year-old Seth Jackson had reportedly tried helping his friend who was being attacked by a group of teens. When one of the teens pulled a gun out, Jackson started running but was then shot as he tried running away, his family says. The Richardson, Texas teen will never walk again. Charles Webster, 17, and Taylor Griffin, 18 were both charged with engaging in organized criminal activity. The shooter has not yet been caught. Jackson is a straight-A student, had two jobs and recently committed to the University of Houston. He suffered a ruptured lung and aorta, fractured ribs and a shattered spinal cord.$
