In the dark of night, forces stormed the protest camp, beat peaceful demonstrators, and opened indiscriminate fire. At least 14 protesters have been arrested. The protesters, made up of local traders, labourers, and civilians have been peacefully demanding the reopening of the Abdohi border, a lifeline for the local economy. The closure, ongoing since March 19, has devastated livelihoods and pushed the indigenous into desperation. A peaceful protest rally was organized in Quetta against the enforced disappearance of BYC's Central Committee member Bebarg Baloch and illegally detained Baloch women. The district Administration and Police were ready to crackdown on protesters with batons and water canons. However, protest was conducted peacefully. The protesters were joined by families of disappeared persons and demanded the immediate, safe and unconditional release of Bebarg Baloch along with all forcibly disappeared Baloch. Today, the 11-day sit-in protest by the families of forcibly disappeared Baloch individuals was attacked by the forces when they were marching towards the Red Zone. Elderly men, women, and children were subjected to brutal violence, including live firing. Dozens of protesters were taken into custody and shifted to unknown locations. For decades, the state institutions' response to peaceful demonstrations has been violence and intimidation. The forced disappearances and genocide of the Baloch people continue, and when the families and civil society protest, they are treated with cruelty, beaten, dragged, and imprisoned. After facing severe crackdown, the protesters have reorganized and continued their protest. Once again at midnight, the Sindh police violently attacked a peaceful protest organized in solidarity with the Baloch Yakjehti Committee’s Baloch Raaji Muchi and in opposition to the brutal crackdown on the movement. Many of the peaceful protesters including women's were arrested and detained by the police. When the protesters resisted, the police were compelled to release some of them, though more than ten protesters remain detained. The state is showing fake negotiation on one side, while harassing and arresting peaceful protesters on the other. We strongly condemn the recent reports of extreme brutality in Gwadar, where peaceful protesters, including leaders of BYC, have been violently attacked. According to eyewitness accounts, armored vehicles were driven into the crowds at the #BalochNationalGathering, resulting in numerous injuries. This incident represents a severe violation of the right to peaceful assembly and freedom of expression. Paank demands an immediate and impartial investigation into the use of excessive force by security forces. The deliberate targeting of protesters with armored vehicles is a grave human rights violation and can not be justified under any circumstances. We call on the Pakistani authorities to: Ensure the safety and well-being of all injured individuals, providing them with necessary medical care. Last Saturday, an extremely cruel bullying incident took place in the city of Jiangyou(江油) China. The 14-year old victim was almost tortured to death by another girl who is the daughter of the deputy chief of the city´s Police Dept. After offenders uploaded their own footages to social media, the local community became angry. Yesterday they went to the city hall demanding punishment of the offenders, and protest against the handling of the incident by local police. The police soon started cracking down the protest, beat up protesters and arrested many participants. The people who were arrested had been dumped to a truck that is for shipping pigs. I can't play the footage of the bullying incident here due to violation of X policy.

Civil Rights Group, Le Front Citoyen Togo Debout has accused Togolese government agencies of killing at least seven (7) protesters and committing other heinous crimes against citizens in the recent protests against Faure Gnassingbé , who has had his grip on power since 2005, after succeeding his father. According to the group, seven bodies of some protesters allegedly arrested and tortured by soldiers and pro government militia groups have been recovered from rivers in the National capital. The three days uprising and protests in the Francophone country, follows a crackdown on major opposition figures and amendments to the constitution which made Faure Gnassingbé, President of the council of ministers, a role that has no official term limits.
