MGS2's FPS mode is pretty much set for MGSHDFix 3.1.0, just fixing up some things Bluepoint missed implementing (such as the diving goggle overlay at the start of plant. 👀) Still digging around for the FPS mode variables in MGS3.

A small Easter egg that's been missing for 24 years - the original Japanese version of PS2 Sons of Liberty had a different ringtone for the mobile phone, which went missing in all future versions of the game. Will be restored for all regions with MGSHDFix 3.1.0. :3

oh... accidentally found third person view in MGS2MC, guess that'll go into MGSHDFix too. it locks the camera to overhead view when in super-tight corridors so you don't clip through walls, but otherwise... yeah, it been there for 15 years. will do some small fixes to it lol

MGSHDFix patch 3.1.0 is gonna be good.👀 Fixed rain running at 2x speed during cutscenes. Now matches proper PS2 timing, most noticeable in slow-mo shots (@ 27 second mark.) Before: rain outruns Snake during slo-mo After: rain respects gravity

Already cooked up another major fix for MGSHDFix 3.1.1. All of MGS2's contrast/color filters have been restored. This missing effect has always been one of the major reasons I preferred the PS2 versions vs HDC/MC. With it fixed, MC is definitely my forever go-to now.
