The reconstruction of my late friend Prince Job Paul Kafeero’s grave is now in its final stages following a successful operation by a team of experts to retrieve a small sample of his remains for DNA analysis. The exercise was undertaken to facilitate paternity testing for over 20 young people who claim to be his children. As the Bible reminds us in Luke 12:2, “There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.” We commend the professionalism of all the experts involved and remain hopeful that the DNA results will establish the truth, bring clarity to all concerned parties, and finally put this 20 years long-standing matter to rest.

Earlier today, we delivered the first consignment of assorted Ugandan goods, including Mirinda Orange, kalo, and Ugandan coffee, to a store / ware house in Toronto City. I thank my colleagues and childhood refugee friends from Eritrea who spent most of their adolescent years in Kampala for this great initiative and partnership. We also thank President Yoweri K Museveni for welcoming millions of refugees into Uganda over the years. Today, many of them are successful entrepreneurs and investors engaged in international trade and creating opportunities across the world. Let us continue promoting Ugandan products and trade globally. Two more stores are set to open soon in Vancouver and Winnipeg. God bless Uganda and all those promoting African trade and unity.

I would like to inform the general public that the man seen in the TikTok video, allegedly violating and abusing a young boy to the extent of causing him to vomit during the incident, has surrendered himself to our offices. He is currently under questioning and investigation by CID regarding these serious allegations involving a minor. It is believed that the suspect may have drugged the young victim prior to carrying out these abusive actions. I therefore appeal to the investigators to handle this matter with the utmost seriousness, diligence, and transparency to ensure justice is served. Let us all respect the laws of the land and uphold the dignity and rights of others. Abuse in any form is unacceptable and must be condemned by all. Bible Verse: “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.” Proverbs 31:8.

Following complaints by leaders, concerned citizens and my own findings , this serves as strong warning to individuals involved in exploiting children for social media content . Those operating under names such as “Chicken Chicken,” “Chuni,” and any associates engaging in similar conduct are hereby put on notice stop immediately. Using children against their will, subjecting them to humiliation, coercion, or degrading treatment for content is a violation of Uganda’s laws, including the Children Act, the Computer Misuse Act, and the Data Protection and Privacy Act. Such actions may lead to criminal liability, including fines and imprisonment. Let this serve as a final warning . protect children, respect their dignity, and comply with the law. That said, it is important that we all play our part in improving traffic flow and boosting business activity in our city. Let us support KCCA’s efforts to clean and organize the city. Dr. Shiela, who recently went viral on TikTok calling for help after over UGX 7 million meant for her single mothers’ Christmas holiday booking had been taken by Murungi Tours and Travel, has this evening been fully refunded. However, another complainant has since come forward, alleging that the same agency received UGX 2.6 million from her under similar circumstances. A General Inquiry file has been opened at CPS (Room 64). Anyone who believes they may have been affected is encouraged to report to the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of CID KMP for guidance and support in recovering their funds. We wish to assure all young people and Ugandans affected by fraudsters and scammers that Government and our security forces remain committed to pursuing such individuals. There is zero tolerance for thuggery and fraud in our nation.

Earlier this afternoon at Christ the King Church, Kampala, I represented the CDF and Chairman PLU, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, delivering his heartfelt condolences on the passing of Comrade Banura Peter Araali (LC5 Kikube & PLU Coordinator). I delivered the message during the requiem mass held in his honor and conveyed special condolences to Mzee Ambassador Gen. Matayo Kyaligonza. I also presented a contribution of UGX 10M towards the burial arrangements. ‘I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.’ — 2 Timothy 4:7 May his soul rest in eternal peace."

On behalf of the supporters of Chairman Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba (PLU), I handed over a motorcycle (a “seed”) to Mr. Publicity from Natete, who says he lost his job after being seen at the President’s farm. He alleges that his employer, who supports a different political side, took away the motorcycle he had been using for work and told him to seek employment from “Mzee.” In response, I chose to support him with a motorcycle so he can provide for his family. The understanding is that, with time, he will work towards acquiring another motorcycle and pass this one on to another young person creating a transferable seed of prosperity.
