We are releasing CCTV footage of Parker taken on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 12:52 p.m. in the 5500 block of Travis Crescent N.E. We are asking Calgarians to check their properties for signs of Parker. Every search matters & even places you've already looked should be checked a second time. If you have a vehicle, truck, trailer or RV that hasn't been used recently, please open it & look inside. Thoroughly search garages, sheds, play structures, storage areas, utility rooms, cupboards, basements, under decks & other enclosed spaces where a child may seek shelter from the heat. Look carefully in narrow spaces between fences & hedges, behind lawn equipment & in any small area where a child could go unnoticed. We also know Parker has a tendency to enter homes and lock doors behind him. We are asking residents to carefully check their homes, garages & sheds once more. Your attention could make all the difference. 📣 Anyone with information about his whereabouts, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of Parker, is asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234 or by submitting it here: Information? ☎️ CPS: 403-266-1234 🛑 Calgary Crime Stoppers 📞 Missing Children Society of Canada: 1-800-661-6160 📲 MCSC rescu: ⚖ Case #: CA26318270 | 3916

We know Parker loves Disney music, so officers are playing some of his favourite songs from patrol vehicles in the search area in the hope that it may help draw his attention and encourage him to come out if he is nearby. This search remains our highest priority. We'll continue doing everything we can to find Parker and bring him home safely. ❤️

🚨 How to search for Parker on your property 🚨 Many people have asked what we mean when we ask residents to "check their property." In this video, Sergeant Chris Martin demonstrates how to properly search areas where Parker may seek shelter. What might not make sense to you could make sense to Parker. Please thoroughly check your own property and any public spaces you are permitted to access. Do not enter or search private property without permission. Parker is known to enter accessible buildings and can lock doors behind him. Check homes, garages, sheds, vehicles, trailers, RVs, storage areas, under decks, between fences & hedges, & anywhere a child may seek shelter from the heat. Parker is neurodivergent & non-verbal & may become frightened if approached by strangers. If you see him, do not approach. Keep him in sight & call 911 immediately. The Calgary Police Service will no longer be sharing the last names of individuals who are reported missing or sharing details of whether any of those individuals are tragically located deceased as a standard practice moving forward. The long-lasting impact of having a full name published on social media can last forever & to ensure the well-being of those located safe, we will only be issuing social media posts with first names, descriptors & photos. Sadly, not all missing persons return to their families & loved ones. To ensure grieving families & friends can share the information on their own terms, moving forward all missing persons updates will only include whether they were located. Many times, missing people are located due to a social media post & we thank you for your continued assistance in our investigations. Should there be an investigative benefit to the additional sharing of details, exceptions may be made. This adjustment to how we share information has been done so carefully & out of compassion & respect for those we serve.

🔵 EXTORTION UPDATE - ADDITONAL CHARGES LAID 🔵 Our Organized Crime & Offender Management Section has laid charges against 5 men in relation to an elaborate scheme to extort a Calgary victim. This incident is an escalation of the ongoing violence associated to an extortion series that is targeting the South Asian community. 📍 Last week, a man was kidnapped from a residence in Edmonton by 4 men. The victim was assaulted, threatened at gunpoint & forced into a vehicle where he was driven from Edmonton to Calgary. Once in Calgary, suspects attempted to use the Edmonton victim to lure a second victim out of his residence in Cityscape. The second victim & his wife attempted to leave their residence, at which point they were followed & threatened with a firearm. These victims fled back to their residence & contacted police. Police located a vehicle fleeing the area & arrested 2 men. The remaining suspects drove the first victim back to Edmonton, where he was released. 4 men have been charged and a 5th is wanted on warrants. 📌 Taranveer SINGH, 24, Daksh GAUTAM, 25, Akashdeep SINGH, 18 & Pardeep SINGH, 24, are each facing unlawful confinement, firearms & assault-related charges. 📌 Gagandeep SINGH, 29, is also wanted on criminal warrants in relation to this incident. “This is a significant escalation in violence in the extortion incidents that we have seen in Calgary so far. Since this series began, we have been working very closely with our policing partners nationally to share information & co-ordinate our response, which allowed us to quickly make arrests in this case.” - Supt. Jeff Bell of the CPS Criminal Operations & Intelligence Division. We thank the Edmonton Police & Canada Border Services Agency for their support. We believe additional suspects were involved. Since January 2025, there have been 45 extortion-related attempts in Calgary, including 19 shootings. To date, 11 individuals have been charged.
