Today, search efforts are also being supported by members of the RCMP, who have joined CPS search teams in the ongoing effort to locate Parker. Officers are conducting targeted searches, reviewing video evidence & canvassing communities while identifying & following up on new investigative leads. We continue to track down information received through our non-emergency line, social media, community reports & other public channels as part of an ongoing effort to identify any information that could assist in locating Parker. Investigators are also using information provided by Parker's family about his interests & behaviours to help guide search efforts. As part of those efforts, officers have been playing some of Parker's favourite Disney songs from patrol vehicles & other search resources in areas where search operations are taking place. Since he was reported missing, the CPS has dedicated significant resources to locating Parker. More than 300 CPS members have assisted in the search effort & officers have conducted door-to-door inquiries in surrounding communities & continue to canvass the area. Officers have reviewed, or are currently reviewing, approx. 50 hours of CCTV, residential security camera & dashcam footage. Approx. 90 tips have been received and assessed by investigators. Today, approx. 120 trained search volunteers coordinated through Search & Rescue Alberta are continuing to assist with search operations. How do search teams cover large areas while ensuring no stone is left unturned? In this video, one of our officers explains the various search methods we and our partners are using in the search for Parker. Two of the men have now been charged. ๐Ÿ“Œ Sandeep SINGH, 30 & Amandeep MALLHI, 39, both of Calgary, are charged with 1 count each of extortion & possession of proceeds of crime. They will next appear in court today, Monday, June 1, 2026. Since this series began in April 2025, there have been 46 extortion-related incidents in Calgary. 19 involved shootings at homes, businesses or vehicles. To date, 14 individuals have been charged with 54 criminal offences in relation to the Calgary series. The Regina Police Service is asking for assistance from the public to identify human remains buried outside a residence in the 1300 block of Retallack Street. On June 9, 2026, at approximately 4:15 p.m., police were dispatched to a call for service on the 1300 block of Retallack Street. The caller told police they had discovered what appeared to be human remains buried outside the residence. Over the course of a week, investigators with the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit, and the RCMP Historical Case Unit, methodically searched the area for evidence related to this suspicious death. Yesterday (June 16, 2026), the Saskatchewan Coroners Service conducted an autopsy which resulted in the discovery of the following information about the deceased: โ€ข Male โ€ข Approximately 5โ€™9โ€ tall โ€ข Between 30-40 years-old at the time of death โ€ข The remains have been buried in this location for a minimum of five years (prior to 2021). โ€ข At some point in his life, the male sustained a broken jaw that required surgical treatment. [KWAZULU-NATAL PROTESTERS TO REFRAIN FROM CRIMINALITY] Police in KwaZulu-Natal are reminding those who stage protests, plan, organise and or participate in marches that they must do so within the perimeters of the law. Police have manned several marches in Durban and other parts of the province which are mainly targeted on foreign nationals. There are also video clips circulating on social media showing acts of lawlessness during certain marches. As much as it is a constitutional right to march, the rights of those marching must never infringe the rights of those who are not. No civilian has the right to search a fellow civilian and request or demand any form of identification. Only law enforcement officers are authorised to stop, search, and request individuals to produce documentations that permit them to be in the country. Police have also noted that several shops, owned by both South Africans and foreign nationals, have remained closed following threats of violence from certain individuals who were part of a march. Police wish to remind residents that intimidation can constitute a criminal offence and people must refrain from threatening others. Assaulting another person, whether a foreign national or not, is a criminal offence and police will not standby and watch when the law is being broken. Public Order Police officers will continue to monitor marches, ensuring that the is stability, law and order.
