As the search for Parker continues, we want to provide insight into how search teams are using technology, expertise and investigative information to guide ongoing search efforts. In this video, Staff Sgt. Becky Spohr, Incident Commander for the search, explains how specialized mapping and search-management tools are helping teams document search activity, track coverage, analyze information and identify areas that may require further attention. 🗺️ To date, search teams have covered more than 6,500 kilometres as part of the effort to locate Parker. We continue to ask the public for help a week into our search for Parker. Despite an exhaustive search & ongoing investigative efforts, we continue to be unable to identify Parker’s whereabouts after he was last seen on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 12:52 p.m. Given Parker’s history of entering structures & locking doors behind him, we are asking anyone aware of vacant properties or homeowners who are away in the following areas to contact police: 🔹Travis Street N.E. 🔹Travis Crescent N.E. 🔹Trelle Drive N.E. 🔹Taylor Crescent N.E. 🔹Travis Place N.E. 🔹Thomas Street N.E. We also continue to ask residents to check their properties, as well as realtors and property managers to ensure vacant properties have been searched. The support from the community has been extraordinary. At the same time, we recognize the emotional toll has grown with each day. Today, Wednesday July 22, 2026, from noon to 6 p.m., our Victim Assistance Support Team (VAST) is at the Thorncliffe Community Hall to provide support to residents: We also recognize that this search has affected Calgarians across the city. If you need support, please call 211 or contact the Calgary Distress Centre. Parker was last seen shirtless, wearing dark shorts & black noise-cancelling headphones. He is 4'11", approximately 90 pounds, with brown hair, a shaved head & brown eyes. Parker is neurodivergent & non-verbal and may become even more scared if confronted by strangers. 🔵 CHARGES LAID 🔵 Our Organized Crime & Offender Management (OCOM) Section continues to make significant progress in investigating a series of extortions targeting the South Asian community. 2 more men are now facing charges. 📍 On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, a business located in the northeast community of Saddle Ridge received demands for money from an unknown person, who claimed the business owner & their friends & family members would be shot if the victim did not comply. The victim contacted police, & members of our OCOM Section immediately began investigating. 📍 On Thursday, May 28, 2026, investigators took four men into custody while officers also executed a search warrant on a residence located in the 0 to 100 block of Saddlestone Way N.E. Two of the men have now been charged. 📌 Sandeep SINGH, 30 & Amandeep MALLHI, 39, both of Calgary, are charged with 1 count each of extortion & possession of proceeds of crime. They will next appear in court today, Monday, June 1, 2026. Since this series began in April 2025, there have been 46 extortion-related incidents in Calgary. 19 involved shootings at homes, businesses or vehicles. To date, 14 individuals have been charged with 54 criminal offences in relation to the Calgary series. The CPS continues to work closely with the Canada Border Services Agency & other law enforcement partners to address these incidents. 📣 Anyone with information is asked to contact police. Almost five years ago, one of our bright beneficiaries, David, lost his mother after she travelled to the Upper East Region to seek medical treatment. He became an orphan. In the midst of that tragedy, he left Accra and disappeared from our scholarship programme. We did everything we could to bring him back. We had even identified a loving family that was ready to take him in so he could continue his education through our Student Training and Education Programme (STEP), but his family was not ready to let him return. We never gave up. In 2024, we heard that David had returned to Accra, so we travelled to Kasoa to look for him. We were relieved to find him, but his family was not forthcoming, making it difficult for us to stay in touch. Sadly, by the time we returned, he had been taken back to the Upper East Region. Then, just recently, we received the phone call we had been praying for. One of David’s cousins had brought him back after learning that he was being mistreated. At just 13 years old, David had been out of school for years and was being made to work on farms instead. Today, David is finally back. He may be behind in school, but he is not behind in potential. We are determined to help him catch up, heal, and build the future he deserves. As we prepare to support David’s return to school, he will need school fees, uniforms, books, stationery, personal items, counselling, and the care every child deserves to thrive. If David’s story has touched your heart and you would like to help him, we’d be very grateful for your support. Every contribution will go towards helping him rebuild his life and continue his education. Because every child deserves a chance. Luna and I hitched a ride from Knoxville, TN to the Veteran owned Statesville I-77 RV Park where dozens of #Helene survivors have found shelter. Holly L who is the manager of the park gave us a little tour today on her day off. EmergencyRV and our RV donors have gifted multiple RVs at this safe haven of survivors and families who are healing their shared Helene trauma. The most basic human needs include safety (shelter), love and belonging, community, being kind and receiving kindness among others. These families are finding it here. Sharing a short video of some of their stories and a look into the shelter we have provided them at the RV park. All photos and information used with permission of the recipients. If you have ever needed a reason to donate your RV in good working order for the full appraised value as a tax donation. Or, if you want to get together with friends/family in your community and buy an RV to provide a family, now's the time. Want to see a crime in progress? It was actually a first for our drone team after we received a report this morning about a man breaking into cars near Pearl Street. Our Drone as First Responder officers heard the call come out and immediately sent a drone to the scene. Within 30 seconds, it captured this video. Thankfully, our officers in cars arrived shortly thereafter and swiftly took the suspect into custody without issue. He was then booked into jail on three counts of First Degree Trespass to a Vehicle. Theft, and Criminal Possession of a Financial Transaction Device. We share this because we believe there could be additional victims whose cars were broken into. So if you parked in the alley or street area near the 1000 block of Pearl Street around 11 a.m. today, please check your cars and let us know if you might have been victimized. You can call Dispatch non-emergency anytime at 303-441-3333 reference case 25-12004. We’d also like to take this moment to remind the community that one of the best ways to protect your property and your vehicles is to keep them locked. As in every criminal case, these charges are an accusation, and the suspect is presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty.
