So Tesla FSD reacts late to guy walking his dog, slams brakes & dodges hard left. I saw the guy way before the car did so folks saying it’s safer than humans may want to rethink that statement. FSD is great till it isn’t & situations like this do cause driver & passenger scares.

Still processing how this car that is more capable, stylish & futuristic than 99.9% of the vehicles on the road is now a classic that is no longer made? Makes you wonder what Elon Musk Tesla Franz von Holzhausen & Lars have up their sleeve? To kill this off it must be incredible.

This is one of reasons I think Tesla FSD still needs supervision. On this road there is a huge drainage spot that has a serious dip. At low speeds you can slowly go over in a higher sitting vehicle, but any low cars need to go slightly around to the left. This morning M3P would have slammed right over it had I not taken control causing damage to the car.

Okay this needs more extensive testing but on a 40 mile interstate loop I’m shocked by what Lucid Motors has done to Gravity. Hands Free Dream Drive is probably only second to Tesla FSD on HIGHWAY INTERSTATES. This is not FSD, but on this section of I-83 it’s damn close. It handles hands free driving, auto-lane changes & is assertive in doing so without being a left lane camper. How big is the footprint that it works? That’s the biggest question, but right now it’s really impressive. It’s beyond Ford BlueCruise, GM Supercruise & similar to Rivian UHF but the auto-lane changes without initiating by signaling is ahead.

Do others disengage FSD when a road pothole or odd utility cutout in the road appears & the car is going to hit it possible causing damage? 🤔 Also I log these events as Critical because they are to prevent wheel or tire damage.

Congrats to the Lucid Motors team Nick Twork Been driving on Software Update 3.4.0 & super stoked. No glitches, system is much smoother & impressive. Way it should be! Car driving wise was amazing from day one. Now my little annoyances with the software are gone.
