Fatal motorcycle collision: WB #Hwy401 approaching Brock Rd Pickering. A 22-year-old rider from Scarborough was pronounced deceased after colliding with an electronic sign board inside a construction zone just after 2am. Any witnesses are asked to call #TorontoOPP at 416-235-4981. Wheel off collision investigation #Hwy401 EB and WB closed between Mill St and Newtonville Rd in #Clarington. An EB vehicle lost a wheel assembly, which crossed into the westbound lanes and struck a passing vehicle. The two occupants in the WB vehicle, both 70-years-old driver sustained non life-threatening threatening injuries and were transported to hospital. #Hwy401 in both directions is expected to reopen by 3:30pm Driver of EB vehicle charged with a detached part from his vehicle. #TorontoOPP ^ks Enquête sur une collision due à la perte d'une roue #Hwy401 : fermetures des voies en direction de l'est et de l'ouest entre Mill St et Newtonville Rd à #Clarington. Un véhicule circulant en direction de l'est a perdu un ensemble de roue, qui a traversé les voies en direction de l'ouest et a percuté un véhicule qui passait. Driver lost control in heavy rain. Spun out on the EB #Hwy407 approaching Mississauga Rd. Struck the guide rail and entered the grassy ditch. He was taken to hospital as a precaution. Two right lanes closed for recovery of the car. Expect to have all lanes reopened by 4pm. ^ks

Two vehicle collision - car vs tractor trailer approaching Teston Rd. 3 occupants in car, the driver, a 50-year-old from Toronto, taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition. Two rear passangers, both 30 years old, males, from Bradford were pronounced deceased at the scene, truck driver not hurt. Witnesses call #AuroraOPP 905-841-5777. Vehicles racing reported on WB #Hwy401 express lanes near Renforth Drive - 12:10pm Sunday, May 31. One of the racing vehicles struck a person who was standing outside of his vehicle that had stopped on the shoulder. He was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.
