I decided to amputate the tip of my middle finger after the stupidest injury of my life unexpectedly took a turn for the worse. Miraculously, the sequence of events that followed somehow resulted in the best Christmas gift I have ever received. Sending love and gratitude to all of you. 🖕

Our grandfather was nearly 80 years old in this video. Letting us throw him around like this not only made us feel like champions, but it kept him young until the very end. We are forever grateful to all our roll models who helped shape who we are, on and off the mat.

“You is a mother f***** dead man.” It’s a miracle he survived a choke this long.

On October 1st we honor the life of Grandmaster Hélio Gracie, the man who redefined martial arts and inspired generations through his vision, perseverance, and unwavering spirit. What many don’t know is that the Grandmaster loved playing ping pong. Thankfully, our mother, Suzanne Gracie, had the camcorder rolling during this match with Royce, capturing not only his joy but also the same sharp technique and strategy that defined him on the mats. Happy birthday to the man who gave so much to so many — and thank you for leading by example, on and off the mat. Helio Gracie: October 1, 1913 - ♾️

Today, we remember Richard Bresler, a jiu-jitsu pioneer and our father's first student in California. His legacy extends far beyond his achievements in the art. During one of our hospital visits, Richard shared this story of a chance encounter at Whole Foods with our mother. He explained that after commenting on the Gracie hoodie she was wearing, our mom took the hoodie off and gave it to him without hesitation, a gesture that resonated deeply with him. This heartfelt moment reflected her eternal gratitude for his tireless support of our family. In this spirit, Richard was allowed any merch from GU, any time, at no cost, and we never knew how much that meant to him until this day. We love you Richard. Your sacrifice and support will be cherished and remembered forever.
