I put Omarchy on my 9 year old's laptop (M1 Air 8gb) about two weeks ago. Now he's working directly with Claude to make games. I am not intervening Normally on a low key Sunday he'd be playing Minecraft, but right now it's all Omarchy and making games A sign of what's to come

Omarchy on a M1 MacBook Air with 8gb of ram This thing is dog slow in OS X It screams 🏎️ in Omarchy The gestures in Chonkstep feel so fluid, way better ergonomics than OS X in my opinion. Our test user is my 9 year old who's using Claude and playing ChonkCraft

I've had an SE/30 for a really long time and I've never seen a Linux kernel boot on it. This is Linux 7.2.8 Claude made it really easy and optimized a kernel for maximum performance using MAME as a build / test "machine" It eventually created a bootable SD card that I dropped into my SCSI2SD and was up running 2026 is peak computer

BeOS had so much aura in the mid 90s. It shared a kinship with Linux in that it booted on our Macs and it wasn't official Apple software
