Persistence in pursuit of a goal pays off Been stuck on my deadlift for over 2 months, but kept putting in the work and today…335lbs 👍🏻 What will *you* do today to invest in your well-being??

Here's the difference a good coach can make Age 53: 335 lbs for 1 shaky rep, needed a belt, dropped the bar Age 54: 335 lbs x 5 solid reps, returning bar to ground each time, no belt The older I get, the more I appreciate leveraging the wisdom of experts

In mere minutes, Judy Shelton makes the most compelling constitutional & moral argument for sound money I've ever heard Watch & share this. I promise it will be the most meaningful 5 minutes you've seen in ages. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent & Donald J. Trump Surely we need Judy on the FOMC?

Rather than talk about the importance of commitment & discipline to maintaining good functional fitness, I figured I'd just show you Yesterday was leg day: 6 sets of 325lbsx6 deadlifts 3 sets 50lbs dumbbell stair lunges 3 sets 270lbsx15 belt squats 4 lengths 315lbs sled push 3 sets strength abs at 200lbsx15 Not sexy. Just moving the weight. But effective in keeping everything strong, healthy & working well What will you do this week to invest in your health?

SHOULDER DAY Warm-up: 3 sets @ 20lbs DBs x12 lateral arm raises (both arms) 3 sets @ 20lbs DBs x12 lateral arm raises (single arm) 2 sets @ 80lbs x12 rear delt machine Main workout: 3 lengths 15lbs walking ball shoulder holds 2 grad sets at 30 & 35lbs DBs x12 overhead shoulder press 4 drop sets starting @ 50lbs DBs x12 overhead shoulder press 2 failure sets @ 115lbs rear delt machine 4 supersets @ 15lbs DBs x15 offset arm raises + @ 130lbs x12 pulldown rows 3 sets @ 25lbs DBs x12 lateral arm raises (single arm) Even with my destroyed left shoulder, my coach & are are able to find ways to strengthen all the muscles around the joint to keep things functional and improving The impact of age -- and its impairments -- can be dramatically lessened with the right programming, dedication & commitment

Sticking tight to the fitness transformation program Banging out 100 dips in 5 sets of 20 Not the prettiest ever. But I’m honestly amazed my ruined shoulder is allowing me to do this. Find what you can do. Then do it 💪

For 2 weeks now, I've been wondering on-air why the US hadn't started interdicting tankers w/Iran oil coming out of the Strait of Hormuz (see clip below dated 4.8.26) Today's headline: "Trump Says US To Sever Iran Lifeline With Blockade Of Strait"

Just hit a new PR Now that it seems I’m pretty much past the effects of the flu, my coach decided to push me today 385lbs x 5 on the hexbar deadlift Closing in on my goal of 400lbs 👍🏻

Today was leg day In addition to back squats, sled pushes & leg presses, my trainer likes to add in "athletic" drills like this one, where the environment changes constantly Your leg stabilizers are firing non-stop to retain balance It's harder than it looks!!

New PR: 390lbs x 5 hex deadlift I’ll admit, the last 2 weren’t the prettiest I’ll work on tightening those up over the next few weeks But only 10lbs away from my 400lbs goal now Hope you do something today towards a dream you have 👍🏻
