Had the weirdest Tesla FSD experience today. Without any warning and with my destination kilometers away, the car just decided to park on the side of the road in a small intersection and it stayed there until I took over. At first I thought it was moving aside to let a priority vehicle pass, but there was none. No idea what the heck the car was thinking 🧐🤷‍♂️. Testing Tesla #FSDEurope with Kees Roelandschap in Amsterdam. Driving through this chaotic little street, with cyclists and pedestrians behaving erratically. And FSD just takes it as a champ. Human would be nervous, FSD just say "nah, I got this"! It sees everything around itself and reacts very safely to the vulnerable road users. Awesome! You were all asking to not intervene Tesla FSD when it gets into a pickle. One of the reasons why Annick De Ridder wanted to do more tests in Belgium for Tesla FSD, is to see how it reacts to the priority that trams have in our country. This says it all: bus with human driver is blocking its way, while FSD simply waits for it to pass (leaving room for both tram lines btw). How is this not allowed in all countries yet? Just look how far the lady on her bicycle still is from the side of my lane and Tesla FSD just spots it and acts like a true gentleman. Drove Tesla FSD Supervised in Antwerp on a busy Saturday afternoon and it handled it beautifully. Here it squeezes in between the curb and tram with literally only centimeters to spare, while at the same time looking out for pedestrians and cyclists. It is truly amazing technology that enhances safety, because in cities like this, you really need eyes in the back of your head and the car actually has 360 views that it watches and processes simultaneously. Turns out that the normal lane was closed and #FSD had to figure out on its own that not had to go into the wrong lane. So it hesitated, but then was very decisive about it. What seemed ike "what the heck are you doing?" turned out to be the right move until, it realised it couldn't complete that move. Very impressive!
