I went to the 6:30 PM Mass tonight at St. Joseph’s Chapel in Carpinteria, California. It was in Spanish. I don’t speak Spanish. 𝗜𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. The Holy Mass is the Holy Mass. In the Reformed world, salvation is a legal label stamped on a sinner who never truly changes. In Catholicism, salvation is not a courtroom fiction. It is God infusing grace into the soul, transforming the person, incorporating them into Christ Himself. That is why Protestant salvation has to stay theoretical. Without the Eucharist, there is no real participation in Christ, only a verdict on paper. Catholicism does not receive salvation 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 Christ. It receives salvation 𝘪𝘯 Christ. And once you see that difference, you cannot unsee it.

In her social experiment, 𝗡𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗿𝗼𝗲 called various churches pretending to be a mom who ran out of baby formula. She even played audio of an infant crying. Protestant churches - including the famous “welcoming” mega ones - said no. But every Catholic parish she called? They said yes. Every. Single. One. And in this video, she calls Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Alcoa, Tennessee, to thank them. Their reply? “𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘎𝘰𝘥. 𝘈𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥.” No theatrics. No excuses. Just works of mercy. 🫶 This is the difference between faith alone in theory and faith working through love in reality. Matthew 25 is not a metaphor. Hungry babies do not need theology debates.
