Boulder County emergency dispatch centers are being overwhelmed with non-emergency calls. Please only call 911 with emergencies. The Office of Disaster Management Call Center is now open to help with general questions and information. Reach out to the call center at: (303) 413 – 7730. Finally, we want to remind you to drive safely, and stay of the roads if possible. Drivers are reporting lots of debris in the road, and many streetlights are out. Stone Canyon Fire Update: Fire Incident Commander Nathan Hallam reported that the Stone Canyon Fire is at 1,553 acres with 30% containment along the east and southeast corner as of 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 1. Crews continue to work on securing the fire perimeter.
