Zelda BOTW VR Mod Releasing In 2 Days! 5 years ago, Crementif began doing the “impossible”. Trying to port one of the greatest games of all time into full 6DOF VR with motion controls. But being a Wii U game, this was an entirely different kind of challenge. Through way too many sleepless nights, Crementif stayed with it, and is finally releasing his mod free and open source in 2 days! Here’s just a few of the features: - Full stereo-rendering with 6DOF (not AER). - Full VRIK, hands and arms support. You can drip yourself out in all the fanciest clothes. - Fully and physically wield weapons, torches and bokoblin arms into combat. - Gestures to equip and throw weapons. - Use motion controls to interact with the world to solve puzzles or start fires. - Optional third-person mode. - Large mod compatibility. BetterVR only modifies the code and no game data. Most other mods should be compatible. Zelda BOTW has some of the best physics and in VR, a whole new world of what you can do opens up.

Free and Open Source OpenXR OBS High FOV / Smooth Camera Plugin Some VR games render a third high FOV spectator camera and it really makes recording VR footage much better. I made a free OBS plugin that does this for any OpenXR game by rendering the og cameras at a higher FOV and then auto crops and passes the normal view to your headset and the extra rendered FOV gets used for high FOV smooth footage. Here's a great example by LunchAndVR

Was playing with the Super ZSNES. It essentially turns any SNES game into a Unity game. It reconstructs and presents the SNES output using Unity cameras, meshes, textures, materials, audio, and UI making it really easy to add a VR camera and do certain mods on top of SNES games

Hogwort’s Legacy is free on Epic Games and has a VR mod! Pande4360 , Jacob Matthew Busfield & DJ did a fantastic job modding Hogwart’s Legacy into a full first person VR game with motion controls with praydog 's UEVR. An Absolute Game Changer Coming For UEVR PureDark has been bringing his AFW implementation to UEVR which can almost double fps in many cases. If you haven’t tried his AFW for RE Engine yet, it works by alternating the frame and using the previous frame + the alternate eye to reconstruct the opposite eye. The end result is that you only render one eye instead of two for synced eye rendering. ✅ Not guessing a future frame like ASW / AppSW / Motion Smooth ✅Not the added latency of frame gen techniques ✅Even opens the door to eye tracked foveated rendering quad views for UEVR
