The best thing I've heard this week or probably in years was, and I quote, ' if your assistance lifts are getting stronger but not your MAIN lifts, then all you're doing, is getting stronger in your assistance lifts but it is doing NOTHING for your main lift' 🤯 HOW TRUTHFUL IS THAT!!! That really resonated with me. What quote resonated with YOU recently?

Slow and controlled today no extra weight. My best was 14 in my late 30's maybe early 40's . I'm just happy to be able to still do them , with extra weight also. But today this lady feels exhausted so we stick with body weight. What's your best achievement you're proud of??

Never In in a million years did I ever think I'll be able to overhead press 40kgs over my head let alone three sets. That's worth a flex 🤣👏🏼 Vid is my third set. 3x3 Yes I know I'm leaning back the last rep , alot of people do that and no it doesn't hurt my back.

3 few weeks ago I couldn't even get my legs straight..this method is called 'greasing the groove' where do you random 'reps' throughout the day. Key is NOT to max out. I've done about 4 already today spaced out. I did hold a little longer for this one. But dammmm🥳🔥

Just 4 km I took the wrong turning 😂🤣😂 but it was fun. I absolutely love a trail run. The beginning is very tricky single file along the coast line and you've got to watch your step but the mental refreshment is the most important and I find this type of run engages my mind.

What's the matter?!?! Never seen a 53yr old rocking a pair of socks and squatting 😆 4 x8 on 65kg volume day , it all adds up to the bigger picture . I am not a bodybuilder although I do mix strength and hypertrophy sets. RDLS Leg curls Bodyweight hyperextension

This is how I always warm up. It's called a bird dog. The bird dog builds core stability, protects your lower back, and strengthens your glutes by improving balance and spinal alignment. I do this before squats and deadlifts every time and it's really helped with my sciatica.

Upper back and OHP Weighted pull ups 2.5kg 2 sets Weighted chin ups extra 5kg 2 set Rows Biceps OHP was 3 set. 2 X5 @ 35kg Decided I'm going to try and throw in a low volume heavier day for the overhead press just to see how that goes. 4 days rest before bench again.

That was the quickest squat session ever 🤣 only filmed the top set. Working on speed throughout the sets .I actually breathed in-between reps on this one so naturally a bit slower 🤣 (and wore a belt) . This is aprox 80% of my 1rm ATM working up. Busy gym blinkers on.
