i made a bridge to cross this gap because i saw a shiny in the distance

i just realised what i dont like about the trick system in crossworlds, if we look at the sumo digital game the trick system is not only skillful but more importantly used for positioning, doing a side trick made you go sideways which was useful for aerial movement

also off road makes ur tires bigger so if you are planning to throw any mario kart raves you wanna do it off road for more exaggeration!!

actually this got me thinking and it reminded me of the avgn movie which has genuinely the perfect summation of this situation with "objectively bad" games when talking about ET for the atari

its crazy how wario stadium went from being like the worst mario kart track ever to being super fun

when i was a kid i didnt know sonic was in the game so this was genuinely the coolest thing i ever saw at the time

this is an issue entirely created by the remakes throwing every sonic move in, due to the pace of the original game thanks to the lack of these tools, this is almost never an issue unless you are careless

okay so im glad someone who has played the game seems to have pointed out the speed/moment to moment gameplay problem that people on twitter act like im insane for pointing out seems even maxing out speed and collecting max rings doesnt mitigate it much

the lack of agency the player has in frontiers when collecting memory tokens is genuinely unreal, most of these "platforming" sequences require little more than holding forward and maybe an occasional button press

i am begging you to listen to this whole album it is the best thing ive ever experienced

sonic feels so fluid in this game, its like water with him bouncing off the walls and how much slopes affect your jumps its just so satisfying and freeform

lil like i know ive been glazing one over the other, but like mario kart world's music is like the one unanimously agreed amazing thing about the game like???

sonic 1 is such a smart little video game omg
