Aztecross knows something we don't. On some of his recent streams, he booted up Marathon and acted weird. There's something big coming.

What? Marathon is possibly the most immersive multiplayer shooter currently on the market. There were so many times I just stopped to look at something in the environment. Example from today. You don't need 50 hand-holdy quests to appreciate the world you're traversing.

The animations... 🤌

Man, I love the dual wield so much

DID HE JUST CALL CYBERPUNK "SLUGGISH"???

Me after Patch 2.5 drops in Cyberpunk, and I try listening to the new radio

"Cyberpunk was a warning, not an aspiration"

Josh Sawyer talking about BGS engine and tools:

I miss this vision of ARC Raiders

"UE5 lighting" "There's no contrast" "Looks worse than before"

I also found some bts stuff! Credits: Directed by Alberto Produced by Sergio Jimenez Co-Produced by Bungie Alex Martin (Proebius) - Production Design Joseph Cross - Bungie Art Director Brian Austin - Marathon Brand Lead Animation by Illusorium, Agora

I will use this as an occasion to share the sheer scale of the in-game UESC Marathon. Starting from the center of the Cryo Archive. Fun fact: outside the zone, there's partially modeled Deimos. Mostly for the view outside the windows.

She even has custom voicelines 😭

“It’s just game bro it’s not that important” The game:

idk why they uploaded it in such low quality edit by /manfredishotreal on TikTok

What the hell is this AI dialogue and writing?

The way it’s still so populated to this day… Bungie was so dumb for not releasing Destiny Classic. I doubt Tiger Engine is THAT bad.

Vault Breaker can be truly mesmerizing. Makes me wonder if Bungie considers making the HUD limited in the upcoming PvE mode for Season 3. Marathon truly takes on new colours with this kind of elevated immersion. Feels almost like the first time I experienced the original trilogy.

I had no idea ARC Creative did the faction intros

I feel particularly nostalgic about this specific Cyberpunk 2077 trailer

See what I meant about the previous art style? Marathon: Dropship explosion VFX by Qiwei Zhang

They've seen the red balls clip 😭
