Huge news and a massive blow to Keir Starmer's supposed authority, that 72 members of Islington North CLP, with a week to go until polling day have issued a joint resignation statement, saying enough is enough and they're walking to campaign and vote for Jeremy Corbyn. Starmer has not learned that you cannot coerce, and abuse party structures, members and volunteers by imposing candidates and expecting them to get out on the doorstep and campaign for a party they are having less and less say in, whilst more and more diktat is handed down to them. People will leave. This isn't the first such instance of mass resignations and likely won't be the last. Corbyn was the chosen candidate of islington North CLP whether Starmer liked it or not, permitted it or not and they will campaign for him now. Labour might still be on course for a majority, but not without a few 'political' bloody noses I hope, and whilst he might command a parliamentary majority, what exactly will the foundations of HIS Labour Party be, with an ever collapsing and weakening grassroots? #DamoRants #StarmerOut

Diane Abbott made a clumsily worded statement, apparently a first draft unintended for publication and she apologised for it, apologised for any offence caused. She was suspended by Keir Starmer in a heartbeat. A black left wing MP suspended accused of racism, yet we've seen time and again white right wing Labour figures get away with it. How many people have been slammed for saying Israel has no right to exist? Been told you're racist for saying it? Well what if I told you that a British legal representative for the Arab League of Nations has stood up for 26 minutes at the International Court of Justice and in no uncertain terms torn every Israel defence you'll have ever heard apart, starting with the simple fact the creation of Israel out of British controlled Palestine was completely illegal, why that was the case and that pretty much everything that has happened in Palestine since 1919 has been covering that legal issue up! No wonder Israel are so touchy about people questioning their existence! #DamoRants #IsraelApartheid

Imagine my surprise to see the Beckenham and Penge Labour parliamentary candidate selections result in Liam Conlon, the son of Starmer's chief of staff Sue Gray, winning the selection, and by just 8 all too convenient online and postal votes, ensuring that the CEO for charity Medical Aid for Palestinians just loses out. Keir Starmer has caused photographic hilarity at home and abroad with his upshooting and photoshopping all in the name of vanity. The man has a Napoleon Complex, or Small Man Syndrome, unhappy with his decidedly average as it happens apparent height of 5' 8" he has photographers on the floor as he tours Estonia, dressed in fatigues and posing like a knock off Mitchell brother, with shadow Defence Secretary John Healey joining in as the bald one, whilst at home he sent out his Xmas card, photoshopped to make him look taller than his wife! How sad can you get, but we've become accustomed to how petty and pathetic this small minded, 'small' man can be, this time he's just been more obvious than usual! #DamoRants #StarmerOutNow

There's parachuting in candidates and there's parachuting in candidates. We've seen Starmer doing this the country over, ensuring only his sort of people get selected for parliamentary seats, but never has a selection process been so brazen as to select the political consultant former Mandelson Spad boyfriend of Starmer's equally odious shadow health secretary Wes Streeting. Yet here we are. He's the Labour PPC for Stockton West in the north east, despite very much living in London. #DamoRants #StarmerIsATory
