One of my rules of investing is that I never let any stock become more than 5% of my portfolio and I never let any sector become more than 20%. When a stock becomes more than 5% I sell it down just like I did with Tesla. My cost basis is zero. It doesn’t matter what happens with Tesla, I made a ton of money on it by following this rule.

Trying out the new Meta glasses from Thailand. Today’s topic is the Tesla flying car. I look at it from multiple perspectives. From just permitting, there’s a lot of challenges. What’s so interesting about it, the technology itself is getting there and I think for metropolitan areas it’s gonna be very difficult. For long-haul traffic it could be very cool. Or in rural areas, even better, flying around in your car. I love the idea. From a perspective of investing, here’s what I think is going to happen. I think there’s no question that Tesla’s going to merge with SpaceX because that technology is coming together like this. So if you own Tesla stock, you’re going to own New Co. If you already own SpaceX, hang in. You’re going to own Tesla. It’s going to happen that way. #shotonmeta #metaglasses

After seeing coordinated false attacks against the Utah data center project, we brought in an advanced data science team to trace where the content was coming from and the results were shocking. What we found led back to organized networks, political activist groups, and funding trails tied to massive international entities. We dug through IRS 990 filings, tracked IP data from around the world, and uncovered what appears to be a coordinated campaign targeting energy and data center projects across multiple regions. I shared 90 pages of evidence with federal law enforcement and raised concerns directly with contacts at the White House. This isn’t speculation. The filings, funding records, dates, and connections are documented. There’s a coordinated PR war happening around energy infrastructure and data centers, and we’re not going to ignore it.

I flew into New York expecting what the new mayor promised: free everything. Free ride? Nope. Free dinner? Nope. Free hotel? Definitely not. What is he, a politician or something? If you campaign on “money for nothing and chicks for free,” you’d think the busses would at least be comped. Great song. Terrible policy.

I love the academic study but I’m doing REAL business in China. I’m not here to play games or talk theories. I’ve been in the trenches, and I see what’s happening. Chinese companies are STEALING our IP, making the same products with my molds, and selling them under different brands. Enough is enough. We need to raise tariffs, not just to 10% or 25%, but 400%. I can GUARANTEE the supreme leader would come to the table if we did this. Weak leadership is hurting American businesses, and it’s time to do something about it. STOP the excuses and let’s get serious about protecting U.S. companies.

Why is there suddenly such an aggressive push against American data centers and AI infrastructure? After seeing a major spike in coordinated opposition campaigns around our Utah projects, we conducted a digital audit and traced a large amount of the activity back to an organization called Alliance for a Better Utah, which has been pushing misinformation throughout Box Elder County about our data center developments. What’s even more concerning is where the funding appears to originate. After reviewing IRS Form 990 filings and tracing the network behind it, the money appears tied to Chinese linked funding channels connected through an organization called Arabella. Think about the incentive, if China is racing to dominate AI and compute capacity, why wouldn’t they want to slow American infrastructure down?

I’m the only developer of data centers on earth that graduated from environmental studies. I'm pretty aware of what these concerns are. They are around air, water use, heat, noise pollution. So sustainability is at the heart of what we do in terms of all these proposals. We search for the best technology. There's many air-cooled turbines now, so you're blending in air-cooled versus water. There's so many different ways to generate power. We can also put a percentage of the power generation through solar, wind, and batteries because the battery technology is 10X more efficient than it was just five years ago. So that's very helpful because it makes the cost of energy lower.

I have been completely impressed by how Carney has operated. He's got critics but I'm not one of them. I look at this and I say to myself, the richest country on earth per capita is Canada but it's all in the ground. Unfortunately, for the last decade, bad policy took it to the bottom of the G20 by every measurement. Carney is gonna change all that and he's got the population behind him. Right now this tiff with the United States makes no sense long term. The largest consumer market on earth is the United States. The largest gathering of wealth that is going to be consumed by that consumer market is sitting in the ground, or in the water, or in the energy, or in the gas, in the oil, the uranium, in the potash of what Canada has. These two countries are going to get together 100%.

There's 41 million Canadians sitting on the world's largest amounts of all resources, including the most important, energy and water. Canadians over the holidays have been talking about this. They want to hear more. What this could be is the beginning of an economic union. Think about the power of combining the two economies and erasing the border between Canada and the United States. I like this idea and at least half of Canadians are interested. Nobody wants Trudeau to negotiate this deal. I don't want him doing it for me, so I'm going to go to Mar-a-Lago. I'll start the narrative.

I have to put some bets down on chains that are gonna get adopted. I now know with certainty that ETH will not be the, in my view, the standard across all 11 sectors, primarily because a lot of people think it's too slow. They’re looking for much faster transactional speeds with variance of volumes. You can see that working on Solana and Avalanche. Avalanche has this multi-chain advantage which may be of interest to industry. There's a lot of interesting things going on so now all of us are gonna be forced to take on positions because we simply don't know. Investors make changes all the time. We're always rebalancing when the facts change.

This is a principle I’ve lived by my entire career as an entrepreneur and investor. Many managers think that if they give their number out to their employees, they may call. The truth is you want to hear from them. You want to hear the bad news first. What I found is the more people I give this number to, the less it rings. I want them to have this access because I respect them, and I want them to know that they can come to me. And in that trust, I find that most people never use it.

This is so simple. You go to Europe, you take an American product, you sell it in Italy and they whack a 13 to 15% VAT tax, consumer tax. Then you go to the airport, you get your money back, of which 1% people do. Same in Canada, same in Mexico, England, Switzerland, all the same. All that Trump has done, 'cause we never had consumer taxes in the US, you can't get that through Congress, he calls it a tariff. Reciprocal and kind of the highlight deal right now is the EU. You ship something over here from Europe, you pay the same thing they whack an American product with. It's not that complicated. This is not an ad for Trump. I'm an investor. Something's working here. It's a policy decision. I'm a policy guy. The Europeans have been sucking 15% cash for 40 years out of America and you're unhappy that we're doing the same thing to them? I don't think so. Get over it. Breathe the oxygen and be happy with your portfolio.
