ASML CEO on Elon Musk's Data Centers in space and Terafab: "I think you need a certain amount of data centers and they will be in space, they will be on the earth. I think the discussion about data centers in space is to address another potential bottleneck in the ecosystem, which is energy. I think the discussion around putting data center in space is there because if you do that, the energy consumption or the energy availability will be there, about trying to solve another potential big issue, which is energy for data center. I think the Terafab is an example of a major fab project."

I ask myself, “What do I buy that is really the picks and shovels? And what do I buy that is actually a direct ownership of the tech equivalent to, let's say a stable coin or Bitcoin itself?" My conclusion has been if I wanna play the long-term, the next five years or even 10 years in AI, I need to own data centers. I need to own real estate where data centers are built. I need to own power contracts that power the data centers. I've seen this movie so many times before, once you convinced as an investor that this is gonna be here for a while.

Interesting video... America is running dry and I think it is all connected to the data centers. If the Hoover Dam fails it will put 25 million Americans in danger. The lake's elevation has dropped by approximately 160 feet since 2000, and water levels are expected to decline even further. Where did all the water go? Are data centers to blame?

Ignore the noise and focus on the signal. This is a great economy for goods consumption and we are finally starting to see industrial demand strengthen. If the oil shock were going to impact goods demand, it would have shown up in the freight data already, as it is hyper sensitive to short-term demand shocks. The opposite is happening.
