I have been completely impressed by how Carney has operated. He's got critics but I'm not one of them. I look at this and I say to myself, the richest country on earth per capita is Canada but it's all in the ground. Unfortunately, for the last decade, bad policy took it to the bottom of the G20 by every measurement. Carney is gonna change all that and he's got the population behind him. Right now this tiff with the United States makes no sense long term. The largest consumer market on earth is the United States. The largest gathering of wealth that is going to be consumed by that consumer market is sitting in the ground, or in the water, or in the energy, or in the gas, in the oil, the uranium, in the potash of what Canada has. These two countries are going to get together 100%.

I look at the situation through the lens of an investor. The analogy I love to use when it comes to investment is, I don't want to invest where the puck is, I want to invest where the puck is going. I'm going to argue that there's never been a better time to invest in Canada now in the height of this chaos, and I'll explain my investment thesis. Carney cannot sustain 50% tariffs on the Canadian economy. That will put the country into a recession and he knows it. And I don't think 26 states in the US can sustain 50% tariffs with their biggest trading partner, and Trump knows that. So this is a politically motivated period of time, I would call it 60, 90 days, where you can invest in a country in economic chaos at the bottom and get a ridiculously fantastic return over the next five years.

I flew into New York expecting what the new mayor promised: free everything. Free ride? Nope. Free dinner? Nope. Free hotel? Definitely not. What is he, a politician or something? If you campaign on “money for nothing and chicks for free,” you’d think the busses would at least be comped. Great song. Terrible policy.

I don’t believe the U.S. Canada trade war is built to last. America needs critical resources like uranium and potash, and Canada needs stable access to the U.S. market. Long term, these economies are too strategically connected to stay divided by tariffs. The real outcome should be deeper economic cooperation, not pushing Canada closer to China.

Why is there suddenly such an aggressive push against American data centers and AI infrastructure? After seeing a major spike in coordinated opposition campaigns around our Utah projects, we conducted a digital audit and traced a large amount of the activity back to an organization called Alliance for a Better Utah, which has been pushing misinformation throughout Box Elder County about our data center developments. What’s even more concerning is where the funding appears to originate. After reviewing IRS Form 990 filings and tracing the network behind it, the money appears tied to Chinese linked funding channels connected through an organization called Arabella. Think about the incentive, if China is racing to dominate AI and compute capacity, why wouldn’t they want to slow American infrastructure down?

I’m the only developer of data centers on earth that graduated from environmental studies. I'm pretty aware of what these concerns are. They are around air, water use, heat, noise pollution. So sustainability is at the heart of what we do in terms of all these proposals. We search for the best technology. There's many air-cooled turbines now, so you're blending in air-cooled versus water. There's so many different ways to generate power. We can also put a percentage of the power generation through solar, wind, and batteries because the battery technology is 10X more efficient than it was just five years ago. So that's very helpful because it makes the cost of energy lower.

I love the academic study but I’m doing REAL business in China. I’m not here to play games or talk theories. I’ve been in the trenches, and I see what’s happening. Chinese companies are STEALING our IP, making the same products with my molds, and selling them under different brands. Enough is enough. We need to raise tariffs, not just to 10% or 25%, but 400%. I can GUARANTEE the supreme leader would come to the table if we did this. Weak leadership is hurting American businesses, and it’s time to do something about it. STOP the excuses and let’s get serious about protecting U.S. companies.

There's 41 million Canadians sitting on the world's largest amounts of all resources, including the most important, energy and water. Canadians over the holidays have been talking about this. They want to hear more. What this could be is the beginning of an economic union. Think about the power of combining the two economies and erasing the border between Canada and the United States. I like this idea and at least half of Canadians are interested. Nobody wants Trudeau to negotiate this deal. I don't want him doing it for me, so I'm going to go to Mar-a-Lago. I'll start the narrative.

I’m bullish on the WNBA. The league has done an incredible job building attention through media, social media, and emerging stars who are creating real fan loyalty. Controversy has only added fuel to that interest, but the bigger story is the growth of the product itself. As these players become bigger stars, the value of the league, its audience, and even its collectibles will continue to rise.

This might be the best commercial for Miami Beach real estate I’ve ever seen and New York paid for it. You don’t tax capital and expect it to stay. You drive it to places that want it. It’s that simple. I’ve watched this happen for years — over-tax, overreach, and the money walks.

This is so simple. You go to Europe, you take an American product, you sell it in Italy and they whack a 13 to 15% VAT tax, consumer tax. Then you go to the airport, you get your money back, of which 1% people do. Same in Canada, same in Mexico, England, Switzerland, all the same. All that Trump has done, 'cause we never had consumer taxes in the US, you can't get that through Congress, he calls it a tariff. Reciprocal and kind of the highlight deal right now is the EU. You ship something over here from Europe, you pay the same thing they whack an American product with. It's not that complicated. This is not an ad for Trump. I'm an investor. Something's working here. It's a policy decision. I'm a policy guy. The Europeans have been sucking 15% cash for 40 years out of America and you're unhappy that we're doing the same thing to them? I don't think so. Get over it. Breathe the oxygen and be happy with your portfolio.
