And I’m so glad Final Fantasy leaned into this VA and voice direction for FFXVI. If Final Fantasy XVII doesn’t continue this trend, I’ll appreciate what we had here because it was BRILLIANT. Just one in the myriad of goated scenes this game produced.

And yes, Masayoshi Soken SHOULD be composer again if we get a futuristic, cyberpunk-like Final Fantasy because listen to this whole thing and tell me my goat didn’t just create a masterpiece of a final boss theme. It FUCKS HARD

Penguinz0 just reemphasized what I, and many other people have been saying as to why Expedition 33 is important—why it can set that example for other games in the future. The “it’s great but you’re glazing it” Yes bro. Yes. Of course I’m going to glaze a great game that thinks of the players, respects their time and money, and puts passion above all else. Of course.

It isn't gameplay everyone is going to enjoy given what the fanbase is used to. However, I will always say that the combat itself is one of the best aspects of FFXVI besides its narrative. When you're not blinded by the fact that it isn't a command based RPG, it's clear how meticulously crafted the combat is to mess with like your own sandbox.

Yeah, I can already see this becoming my favorite turn based combat system The real time mechanics genuinely make so much sense to have rather than just watching animations happen in between turns This game man… 😮‍💨

Final Fantasy XVI hits its 3rd year anniversary!! One of the coolest, most jaw dropping video games I’ve played this generation, with a story that made such a searing impression on me. Anyway enjoy me enjoying one of my favorite boss battles in the game!
