Penguinz0 just reemphasized what I, and many other people have been saying as to why Expedition 33 is important—why it can set that example for other games in the future. It isn't gameplay everyone is going to enjoy given what the fanbase is used to. However, I will always say that the combat itself is one of the best aspects of FFXVI besides its narrative. When you're not blinded by the fact that it isn't a command based RPG, it's clear how meticulously crafted the combat is to mess with like your own sandbox.

Final Fantasy XVI is 3 years old and to this day I still can't get over my love for the combat—the combat feel. To this day I still come back to mess around with different Eikonic builds and replay my favorite stages and boss encounters. This game will always rock to me 😌
