This is from Apple's State of the Union The local model is a 3B parameter SLM that uses adapters trained for each specific feature. Diffusion model does the same thing, adapter for each style. Anything running locally or Apple's Secure Cloud is an Apple model, not OpenAI.

The 18MP selfie camera in the iPhone 17 is huge It’s a square sensor, so you get horizontal and vertical photos and videos while holding it normally, so you don’t need to rotate it. It also uses AI to automatically switch between views depending on who’s in the frame.

One thing I did which has been extremely cool is have Grok 4.5 in Grok Build CLI scan my project for all the UI/UX bugs it could find and make a detailed list. Got a couple hundred. Then had GPT 5.6 Sol in Cursor fix all of them by delegating subagents and managing the PRs. It’s been running for 3 days now and handled an insane number of them, and is still going. I’ve been checking in every couple hours and it’s just extremely good work.
