Over the next 30 seconds, you'll see more than 300K images of me, making 60 gaussian splats every second. Last year, I got to visit Infinite-Realities. We are open sourcing all 300K images, in addition to releasing 1800 trained plys for people to download. We are also releasing a free VR experience through Unity through Aras Pranckevičius 🇺🇦🇱🇹 plugin. Check out the higher quality video (there's also a BTS):

The biggest announcement from NVIDIA GTC was just released! It's the open sourcing of TWO Radiance Field methods, 3D Gaussian Ray Tracing and 3D Gaussian Unscented Transform from NVIDIA AI Developer. Not only has the code been released, but they come with an Apache 2.0 License, meaning you can use these methods commercially. This is the same license that Nerfstudio carries and is a big win for the community! 3DGRT introduces a pure ray tracing implementation, while 3DGUT brings the effects of ray tracing, such as secondary lighting effects to rasterization. The easiest way to capture large scale and high fidelity Gaussian Splatting captures just got a big upgrade from XGRIDS's release of LCC 1.7. They're bringing some exciting new features like HD Enhancement and Map Fusion! Map Fusion allows people to pair drone footage with the XGRIDS scanners. HD Enhancement allows secondary data captured using additional devices like DSLR or smartphone cameras. Article👇
