In August 2023, Shubh left Stable Money to start his own startup - he got off to a flying start by getting an early cheque from EF India, finding his co-founder Saksham and lining up their first few customers. Exactly a year later - tragedy struck: Shubh was diagnosed with Gullain Bairre Syndrome - a rare neuroglial condition which impacts 1 in 1 Lakh individuals. In a matter of days, Shubh condition deteriorated significantly - he went from the gym rat I first met to someone who couldn’t even move his limbs!

UC is saving ~₹35 crore per annum by using AI Per UC’s Q4 FY26 filings, 55% of partner support queries are handled by AI. This has reduced the support cost per partner visit down from ~₹40 to ₹31.5 per order. Voice AI plays a major role at UC in onboarding new partners, providing real-time query resolution during fixing and doing multi-way calls to coordinate visits. Last month, Raghav Chandra, Co-Founder & CPTO of UC, demoed their AI assistant on stage at Mumbai Tech Week. He showed how UC’s AI assistant helped a service professional resolve a technical doubt while at the client’s home. Their AI deployment scale is already meaningful: 1️⃣ 2.35 crore in-service job images processed Q4 FY26 2️⃣ 5 lakh call minutes handled in Q4 FY26 3️⃣ 100% of in-service images audited against SOPs in real time Outside of partner enablement, UC is also using AI to improve its customer experience - placing filter reminder calls for Native, visualization of interiors in UC Revamp and much more. ➡️ For UC, the ₹35 crore of annualized savings represents a whopping 25% of the adjusted EBITDA figure in their core India biz. This is material & they are just getting started.

Aman and Harshita built a $1M ARR startup, sold it to Exotel in 4 yrs and could have retired at 26. Instead they decided to start up again. Their first company Cogno AI was acquired in November 2021 - the duo made a few $ millions within 4 yrs of graduating from IIT Bombay & Kanpur respectively🤯 Cogno was a phenomenal campus success story - 4 yrs from founding to acquisition with marquee logos such as SBI, HDFC and ICICI Group. But, in 2023, they decided to start their 2nd venture - Greylabs AI. This time around, they partnered with their founding team from Cogno AI including Shivam, Shreyas, Debabrata and Raj.

I haven’t made a single CRM entry this year. But, my AI agent has created & edited entries for: - 500 companies screened - 60 of which were deeply evaluated - 4 or 5 of which we invested into Even as recently as 14 months ago, I would do this grunt work by hand therefore I know exactly how long & painful these tasks can be: - 10 mins for a rich “screening” CRM entry - 25-30 mins for a rich “deep eval” CRM entry The time saving is 100+ hours of high quality effort per quarter This is the 2nd quarter in a row where this level of ROI has been extracted - it effectively eliminates the need for a human Analyst. Let me tell you a little bit about this journey:

In February 2026, I almost bought the Indian IT Index - this decision would have cost me ₹5L or more Wealth channel RMs were funneling news & fund managers selling the Indian IT recovery story From a private markets lens - I could see a K shape in our portfolio companies - AI adopters were pulling ahead of the AI laggards I believed something similar would happen in public markets too - landslide has continued Indian IT had a K-shaped response to AI⤵️

WTF happened in the Kissht IPO? I was surprised to get not 1 but 4 retail lots! The pop today was well deserved (I wrote about the business last week) but I had to get to the bottom of how I got 4 retail lots. Turns out that the basis for allotment is quite complex and over-subscription doesn't necessarily mean allotment goes into lottery mode! Pleasantly surprised by the ₹11k gain on a ₹60k cost basis today!

Every time you travel in a Shoffr, your driver has a co-pilot - an AI-powered dashcam from Cautio Was he on the phone? Was he on time? Did he show signs of fatigue? Did he take the car for a personal ride? Cautio helps fleet operators answer these questions not with anecdotes, but with video evidence and AI-led driver behavior monitoring. Cautio is not an “AI wrapper”:

AI is not replacing jobs. There is a fundamental difference between a collection of tasks & a job. Job = U { Tasks, Judgment, Relationships, Context, Ownership} Few jobs are truly at risk of replacement by AI - these involve more deterministic IO (Input Output) execution e.g. data entry, QA, CS etc. Most jobs are resilient because: (1) Human principals (business owners) always seek to assign responsibility & blame to a human agent. (2) Deals get done not because of outbound spam but because of years of nurturing a relationship (showing up at conferences, events, meet-ups) (3) The physical world is messy AF. Humans read non-verbal & subtle cues which are only possible via in-person interactions. The midwits are right - AI is taking over tasks. In fact, if AI hasn’t taken over tasks for you then you’re doing something very wrong. If tasks are automated & workflows are changing, jobs won’t be lost. In fact, to manage the messy transition, humans will be more in demand than ever before. The data from Foundation Labs itself points to this (watch to the end of this rant)

My Podcast Agent now saves me ~1 hour per week I subscribe to 20 podcast shows - which translates to ~5 hours per day. However, I only have time to listen to ~2 hours worth of material (even on 1.5x while I’m at the gym or doing other time pass) Previously, for episodes I couldn’t listen to - I would spend ~10 mins (on average) to find the podcast transcript online (YT or otherwise), then upload the PDF into ChatGPT & get the summary output in my desired format. But now, without writing a line of code, built using OpenClaw & a Notion integration through Composio, my Podcast Agent has automated all of this:

Token consumption is the new vanity metric. CEOs & Internet clowns are boasting “salary spend is equal to token consumption” But, tokens are merely an input (much like human labor) to business logic, task execution & decision-making. Saying you burned 1M tokens last week is a bit like a McKinsey partner bragging that he kept his back office awake for 2 nights straight to produce a mediocre client presentation which didn’t convert into a new project! I measure our agentic transformation progress using a simple set of Qs:

I got early access to the Indus Assistant by Sarvam AI - the experience was super cool. Yesterday at the Delhi T3 Maharaja Lounge, I used the assistant for two fun tasks: 1. Convert my English words into Marathi script to introduce myself to someone 2. Get more information about the newly launched Air India Maharaja Lounge in the international terminal Indus was launched 3 days ago - the results were quite good:

AI saves me 150+ hours per year for my long form writing - 2026 was the breakthrough year: I’ve written over 500 long form pieces over the past 3 years - in the pre-AI era, each piece would take 2 hours. In 2026 - using Notion AI, Wispr Flow, ChatGPT & a few other tools - the average drafting time is down to 30-45 minutes. Here’s my Writing 3.0 framework ⤵️

The most underrated feature of ChatGPT is Scheduled Tasks In any chat window, you can ask ChatGPT to perform a scheduled search - the frequency & research prompt are fully customizable. This feature is a MUCH more refined version of setting up news alerts on Google News or any other RSS feed. I have a couple of scheduled tasks for sectors which I find most interesting (e.g. Defense, Semiconductors, Data Centers & SpaceTech in India). The prompt template I use is linked below ⤵️

I’m hiring my first team member for PFH (my hold co) — this is a paid remote internship (~25 hours per week) for a college student to come work with me: This 12 month internship is a starting point, if PFH scales, there will be opportunities to go full time:
