Terran R build is continuing to ramp up this fall. From avionic builds to expanding of our machine shop capabilities and more. 🔥In prop, teams completed assembly of the second Aeon R engine for first flight and reduced average cycle times across key engine components by 50%. 💻The avionics team is building the flight hub box, which will serve as Terran R’s central node for routing data and distributing power to critical systems. 🚀Welding of the first stage tank is progressing with 3 circumferential friction stir welds now complete.

From Space Beach and the Space Coast, Terran R hardware and infrastructure are coming to life across design, build, test and launch. 🏭 On the factory floor teams installed the second stage downcomer and forward test adapter on the tank in preparation for acceptance testing, with continued progress on first stage fuel tank build. 🖥️ Teams completed thrust structure hardware-in-the-loop hardware integration, creating a testbed for software, avionics, and partner teams to validate designs and automation before use on the vehicle.
