LC-16 is taking shape. ✔️ Flame diverter installation is underway, built to redirect the immense heat, exhaust, and acoustic energy generated at launch. ✔️ Launch table steel is going up alongside continued work on the LNG tank farm and lightning protection system, raising the first sections of the 531-foot... show more

LC-16 is coming together fast. The flame diverter is the part I watch closest, getting acoustic and exhaust loads handled at the pad sets the tone for the whole reuse cadence. Terran R campaign ops will be busy.

This feels like the busiest the Cape has been! Relativity, Blue Origin, and Stoke are all putting up pads. Looking forward to seeing Terran R vertical soon!

Flame diverter going in, launch table rising — you can feel LC-16 becoming real pad by pad. Rooting for the Long Beach build. Honest hardware progress is how more doors to orbit open.

Redirecting immense acoustic and exhaust loads requires advanced thermal-fluid dynamics simulation before physical construction. Deterministic multi-physics modeling prevents catastrophic structural fatigue during launch
